I like the full grate design. It also has a really big, hot front burner which is great.
A really great oven

Nice, simple, well-built and solid. The power burners work great, the two large grates are very nice to work with and it's all sealed burners so it's easy to clean. My sister has the same oven, she's quite happy with it as well!

Functional... Looks good
from South Lyon, MI
I love the stove top but the broiler is concerning. I have used it twice and each time it smelled as if it was melting the linoleum under the stove. I Janene pulled the stove out to look but I am not inclined to use the broiler again. The oven only had one track in it... Really?
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I've had my range for nearly 11 months and I've used it enough to know what works for me and what doesn't. Overall, I'm not thrilled and would not buy again. My biggest issue and by far the most important to me are the size of the oven racks and the front right power burner. The oven racks are at least 3" too short for the oven. If the rack is pushd all the way in, my cookie sheets hang 3" off the front. The slots are too wide. My mini muffin pans fall completely through. If I just want to hear a small bowl up I feel safer to put it on top of a cookie sheet so I don't have to balance it on the rack. The power burner, which is right front does not reduce heat to a simmer. Even its "LOW" setting is way too high. I'm right handed so I cook on the front right all the time, but if I am making anything for a meal I will end up switching burners when I get to a point that I want to simmer. The range looks nice, and I love the top grate. It works excellent with a 2 burner broiling grill. I never would've dreamed to check the rack sizes before I purchased because that would've been a deal-killer for me.Oh and one more thing, the oven light burned out. Turns out it is some odd size that is not stocked at any of the big box stores. That has been a real hassle to replace.
I purchased this for a rental property and even though it was for a rental property, I expect quality from Whirlpool. Opened box only to find several scratches and dents. It seems to be working fine at this point.
Very good features. Cooks really well.

Have had my new stove for several weeks now. Very pleased with it overall. Only problem is the way the oven racks are designed. There is no stop on far end of the rack and you have to be very careful that it doesn't tip forward toward the floor. Will take some time to get used to this.
