Nice looking stove

Comments about Whirlpool 30" Free Standing Gas Range - Stainless Steel:
We upgraded to this stove in a new house and I am glad we did. Very well designed and is an excellent performer. Much easier to clean than any other stove we have owned. Grates cover the entire top surface making it easy to re position a pot/pan and leave it on the stove top. My only issue is the clock/timer is over complicated.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Whirlpool® 5.8 cu. ft. Capacity Gas Range
from Gainesville, Fl
Got this range on Christmas Eve, 2014 when we realized our old oven was dead and had company coming the next day. It's great, love the heavy duty grills and flexible burners. The oven controls are probably more complicated than they need to be, and I haven't figured out if there is a way to make the oven NOT turn off when the timer goes off, but other than that I'm very happy with it.

We have had this for about a month now, and I love the five burners, heavy duty grates, and the large oven door glass is so nice.

Buyer beware! I have bought 12 separate appliances over the last three years and they have all been Whirlpool. That goes to show I trust Whirlpool. Unfortunately this stove I bought for my home doesn't live up to the name. After maybe 5 uses over a year, the over stopped lighting and maintaining its temperature regularly. Now with more use it barley starts and the temperature when it does is 60 degrees off. The repairman says the part to fix it is $500 and he can't even get it because it is out of stock in every major supplier. He said this is a huge red flag that there is an issue with this model. If you do decide to buy, keep your fingers crossed that I got a lemon!

We are enjoying our new stove. Grilling is the best

We grill salmon on the stove and it was moist and flavorful but most of all easy. While the salmon grilled I used the other aisles for roasted baby potatoes and whole green beans. I was able to stay in the kitchen and not worry about the fire getting to high on the grill.
Convection fan doesn't work
from Philadelphia, PA
whenever I try to use convection, the fan never kicks on...it did when I first started using it but it stopped. it's only 4 months old.

I love the five burners, the fact that I can choose between standard bake and convect, and the big oven window. I can finally watch my cakes and cookies bake and my roasts roast. The only drawback is the metal grid on top. I wish I didn't have to take it off and set it on the counter or on the floor every time I want to wipe off the cooktop.

Great Gas Range
from Chicago, Il
I replaced my range with a Whirlpool range . It has great quality for the price. I was able to purchase a Whirlpool range, Whirlpool dishwasher, and Whirlpool microwave. Super products, I only wish I could have afforded to purchase a refridgerator

I had this stove installed in my spec house and had no choice. Within the first 6 months the igniter failed and was replaced under warranty. But I had the stress of trying to cook a roast chicken and finding the oven cold after an hour. So advance another year and we are out of warranty. I am cooking my Thanksgiving turkey and the same thing happens! Turn the oven off and on numerous times to finish cooking the meal. It was delayed 2 hours. I am not spending a dime on this oven to repair it. I have no confidence it won't happen again. A 2 year old oven is now junk. I am buying a GE Profile.
