Nice oven for a good price.
from Castle Rock, Co
I love the big window and the easy panel for setting temperature and timer. The only part I am not fond of is the fan. It's at the bottom of the oven and it sends air out from there. You also hear the fan the whole time the oven is on, and even for a while afterwards while it is cooling down. I would prefer to not have that extra noise. But, the oven does bake evenly and quickly.
Heat is not evenly distributed, but i loved other features.

After nearly 3 months, I felt like I am a pretty good cook, but since I purchased this oven (replacing a Whirlpool from 1995), I have experienced many dishes that were burned on the bottom and not totally browned on the top. I would love to hear back from Whirlpool on some tips to baking and roasting with this model. Or maybe even an accurate thermometer. After spending over $1,100 on an oven, I am disappointed - and I have always (40+ years) been a true Whirlpool customer.
i am glad i got this oven

we shopped at many appliance stores and found that you can pay from $350 to $3500 for an oven! this one was at a "dent and scratch" outlet but no visible damage and whirlpool is a good name - so we got it for a really reasonable amount and installed it ourselves
Easy use features

Was fortunate to purchase this oven on sale so got a even better price than the original price. Have used it several times since installation and it's easy use features are great. It's visual appearance is also pleasing and it coordinates very well with my other appliances.

The oven! Completely diff than my previous one. Yesterday I was baking biscuits at 350. Decided they needed to be at 375, so I increased the heat. Instead of just going up, it dropped down to 295 and went up. This caused the preheat to come on, which caused the top of the biscuits to start browning. I ended up taking the biscuits out and they were a little doughey around the edges.... But I LOVE the big glass door and the light. You can see everything so well.....

Takes too long to preheat, instructions and operation of feature pad hard to understand and does not work well. Attempted to use oven this morning and will not work
So Far, So Good!

I say "So Far, So Good" because we had to buy a new electric wall oven after only 2 years with a GE wall oven. We didn't have an extended warranty. The cleaning cycle on the GE oven malfunctioned the first time I used it. So I were forced to spend $1,400+ to buy a new one. Hopefully, Whirlpool won't let us down.
Whirlpool Wall Oven
It is a great size and very nice. Cooks well.Probably the only think so far we do not like the feature that when the timer turns off it turns the oven off.
