I bought the set at a thrift store used. Hooked them up and, wow! These are quality machines. I had no problems, lucky. So many options and my clothes come out better than they ever have. Good job Whirlpool!

We bought this machine based on the repairman's recommendation. Our LG was just under ten years old and it was starting to have issues about every other month. None of the repairs were major until this last one; the control board was shot and no longer available. The Whirlpool has been great. Much, much quieter than our old LG. It has yet to go unbalanced during the spin cycle and it doesn't vibrate the whole fist floor. The high spin cycle also gets the cloths very dry cutting down on dryer time. Multiple cycles for really dirty stuff if needed. We like the control on the front leaving us with a nice flat top. So far we are very pleased.
Whirlpoop never disappoints

I have owned Whirlpool washer/dryer combinations since 2001. I have never been disappointed; even after having trouble with the washer. Whirlpool stepped up to the plate and took care of everything. They couldn't repair my old one and gave me a new one. Yay Whirlpool!

This is the worst machine ever. If I had it to do all over again, I would buy any machine but this one.I have had it with this machine turning off mid cycle, even with the controls locked.how can you call it "control lock" if the light is on and all I have to do it lean against the machine for it to power off mid cycle? The last time this happened to me, the washing machine had 7 mins to go in the cycle. I was unloading the stacked drier when I leaned against the power button and it turned off. (?!!!!) I have even put plastic over the button to stop this but it is not a touch sensitive button. It is a pressure sensitive button. Nothing can stop the machine from powering off. I have to restart these loads over, from the beginning.
I love this washer! It has a lot of features so you can be choosy how you wash your clothes especially those special items! It takes longer on some cycles but clothes are clean. Noise is low especially lower than my previous LG. Not sure you can get a totally quite machine so don't focus on that but the features. I would buy this again.

Great Features & Cleans Clothes Excellently

I was a bit intimidated at first with all the features as this is my first HE washer but found it was very user friendly. Washes the great & was everything I expected. The only thing I don't like is it takes a long time to wash & you have to make sure that you clean it at least once a month. I also wipe down the seal, door, & soap dispenser after each use to avoid mold as I was told HE front loader washers are susceptible to getting & then your clothes will smell.
Becoming aquainted with a new friend

I just purchased this machine and already notice an improvement from my old machine. What I especially like is how well my clothes are spun dry. I know as I continue to try the different features I will improve my laundering skills and save my clothes on wear and tear.
