Great Washing Machine!!
By Texas Yaya
I purchased the Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer when I moved into my house. With 9 people living in the same house, the machines are constantly running doing multiple loads daily for the past 10 years. Unfortunately, the washer gave out 3 months ago. I did not hesitate but went straight out and got the same type of washer! Why change to something I don't know? So I got myself another Whirlpool Duet washing machine! It is has been standing up to the multiple loads very well. It is a great product!
Excellent washer so far!

Excellent washer with many features - so many we don't use all of them. So far it seems to be one of the best after 5 months of ownership. Though, the initial start of the spin cycle seems to catch you off guard from the sound it makes. Otherwise, it's a great unit.

I absolutely love my washer. The delicate cycle is wonderful for my blouses with embellishments. I turned them inside out and wash them on the delicate cycle. No damage whatsoever to the sequins or the attachedstones. I love it.

I am so glad I got a new washer and dryer!! Ever since the newer stackables were introduced I have wanted them so that I'd have one less appliance footprint in my kitchen. I've finally done some remodeling and was able to get them in there. For being in my main living area, no, they're not quiet but that's ok. I don't know of any wash machines that are really silent. This washes well and leaves my towels softer than ever.
Easy to operate

I love it, huge capacity and clothing come out clean
from Bristow, VA
I can't give 5 stars on this and wanted to give 3.5 stars but didn't allow me to do so. The washer seems to work great and lots of washing options with spin speed and temperature options I didn't have on my older system. I also love the cleaning option and have used that many times. My one complaint is with this front loader water pulls in the center of the rubber piece after each load. It has been checked by the installer and it is level so it appears to be a fault with the machine. I had a front loader before and wasn't sure about buying one due to the mold/mildew issue of the rubber within the machine. They have improved them but it concerns me with the water that remains and is puddled after each load what could happen. I make sure after each load due to this, I wipe down the front and all around the rubber piece to keep moisture retention down.
Constant circuit board failures; cleans fine when it works.
from Parrish, FL
Purchased a Whirpool WFW94HEXW 4.3 cu-ft front loader, roughly 5 years ago in 2011. It worked fine for about a year or two, but then had circuit board problems. Luckily, we got the 5-year protection plan and, boy did we use it! Problem is, every time warranty service came out, they had to order the part, which takes a week or so... and all this time, you don't have a machine to do your laundry. Finally, after they replaced it for the third time, and it failed again a day or two later, they sent us a full refund.I will think twice about buying a Whirlpool again. I'm concerned about front-loaders in general these days. The repair guy told us that the government is going to be putting even MORE restrictions on energy and water usage... which means, these newer machines just don't seem to hold up like the old ones.I know all the review sites say that front loaders clean the clothes better than any top loader out there... but my wife is the one who does all the laundry, and she says she wants a top loader. Going to try a GE.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I love the many options. I use the quick wash the most often.
