upgraded version of my original; preferred the old one which allowed me to have the lid open initially while it ran

Fit perfect in closet!
from Bremen, IN, United States
I bought this unit for my mom who is 84 yrs. old and she had her laundry in the basement. She loves having her laundry upstairs now, and it's all hidden in a hall closet! The machine is very quiet and easy to operate!

As I have limited space in my apartment, this model worked perfectly. It cleans well and the dryer cycle is surprisingly quiet.
This product is conveneance for a small place

I chose this brand because of the reputation of Whirlpool products. Also, I bought one similar like this from another trusted competitor and still working awesome.
Very convenient to use

An excellent product for tight spaces. Does an outstanding job of washing and drying slightly smaller loads. Is not noisy.
This product is fine.

Having very limited space I had not much choice. The company had discontinued the model I had , the washer broke though the dryer still worked, so since this piggyback unit was all that would fit it is what I bought. I like that the washer opens at the top and not a front loader since I'm getting older and have a bad back. It has all the features anyone could need and though it is small you do smaller loads.
marginally usable, low quality product
from Chicago, IL
A few months after purchase, the machine started exhibiting increasingly louder levels of noise, both from what turned out to be defective brakes, and from what seems to be inadequate design to prevent unbalance and simply overall noise. The unit would literally vibrate so badly that it would move inside its closet under some conditions; we obviously cannot leave the unit unattended if in use, which is extremely inconvenient. To be noted, we've been careful to even out the loads, avoid overload, and basically experimented multiple times to see if we're doing something wrong. The overall sound levels would be so bad that we're left wondering if this was ever thought to be used inside an inhabited house. The conclusion is that this a a cheaply made, marginally usable unit which to date, we're unsure if it's been maligned with a manufacturing defect (we've had it thoroughly serviced to get this possibility out of the way), or this is just what the unit is capable by design. Very dissatisfied.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Too small for my use, maybe not your fault!

1.5L cannot wash queen sized bed sheet. The result was not very clean.
A good product, as simple as that
I was pretty limited with space availability, this product was the only ray of light in a dark tunnel of helpless search for laundry machine.
We are a retired couple, thus do not have large amounts of laundry. While the washer unit is satisfactory, the dryer is AWFUL! Even when we run the dryer cycle for three towels, for example, we have to run the cycle twice. Even then, the towels are not dry. We end up having to spread out the semi-dry items on the beds to get them completely dry. The service provider and salesman told us, essentially, that that is just the way it is.
