Comments about Whirlpool Piggyback Gas Washer/Dryer Combo - White on White:
this unit came with a home purchase. adequate for very small loads. if your laundry needs are small, this works ok. but even a few towels will fill it to capacity. also, it is noisy. takes a long time to dry. but better than beating your clothes on a rock.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

VERY RELIABLE AND QUIET
from Newbury Park, CA
This Washer/Dryer Combo packs very efficient engineering along with reliable and consistent results time after time. It is also very quiet for a stackable combo unit. I would recommend this unit to anyone. You will not be disappointed!
Very narrow capable washer dryer combo
from Laguna Beach, CA
Bought this to replace similar 23 year old model. Basic washer and dryer. It's cycle time is 1/3 that of larger normal size machines.

GREAT PRODUCT FOR SINGLE PERSON
'Could be Better!
from Louisville, KY
We waited 3 weeks for delivery of this unit which, we were told, was due to delayed delivery from Whirlpool. Dealer refunded delivery charge to compensate. Installation did not include safety cable to prevent tipping as on old Whilrpool stack washer/dryer. I installed the old cable myself.Rattle in the dryer was present at delivery and worsened over next week. Maytag Service came to tighten sheet metal screws to eliminate rattle 3 weeks after delivery.
Glad to have a washer and dryer in the house

The 27 inches across was good because of the small space but the depth of 36 inches was a problem. I had to move it the another place where the fridge was. It had to be converted to the same type of gas I use for cooking in the Dominican Republic where gas cylinders are the norm.
Noisy washer cycles
from Dracut, MA
Bought this one month ago, smaller than our previous combo machine. Biggest problem is the washer noise thru all modes.

Writing this review after one day of use. The washer is smaller than our last combination machine, will have to get used to doing smaller loads. I find this model to be noisy.
Small but does the job
from St. Charles, MO
Been using this for about a month, pretty small washer capacity so I have to do smaller loads than I'm accustomed to but it is efficient and pretty quiet. The dryer capacity is a little better and does a pretty decent job of getting things dry, but the timed cycle only goes to 50 minutes...barely long enough for most of my stuff. Permanent press cycle is better, trying to work it out so I don't have stuff in for too long.
