Complete junk after only a few years
By Unhappy average Joe

Comments about Whirlpool 3.6 Cu. Ft. Top Loading Washer - White:
Only had it for a few years, bearing seal leaked, damaged transmission AND our floor!! Local repair estimated repair cost to nearly the cost of a new washer. Very unhappy!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this when I moved into a new house and took the 4 year extended warranty.4 years in the sensor broke and wouldn't work anymore. I called and they came and replaced the part under my warranty. One year later, the same thing breaks down only now I'm 1 month past the end of my warranty. This machine is a piece of garbage.

This washer has amazed me. I love the extra large open tub and how it "just knows" how much water to add. The new technology is very efficient.

It only lasted 4 years...it will cost me more to fix it than to buy a new one!

I have thad his washer since May and I like it but I don't love it, it is a top loader and you can not open it once you have started your cycle. Not to crazy about the soap dispenser situation.
Love This Washer!

I am so in love with this washer, I look for things to wash!It cleans very well and it plays a little tune to tell me my load is done!I have to admit I was skeptical of there not being an agitator, but I now would never go back to an agitator machine. This machine is exceptional!!
Not worth it
from Greenwood, IN
This machine replaced a front loader that lasted 14 months. Yes. Months. This one only lasted 4 years and done. Main bearing is out. And now we're being offered 30% off. Off of what has yet to be determined. Is it time to move to another brand after filling the house with Whirlpool for 20+ years? That has yet to be determined.
i hate this piece of landfill material
it sucks i had to give it one star, deserves zero. nothing but problems. The cost to repair is more than a new machine...so bye bye Whirlpool, im off to a competitor and will gladly fork over my hard earned cash to them.
GREAT WASH OPTIONS AND FEATURES
from JACKSON, MS
I PURCHASED THIS A FEW YEARS AGO, AND IT'S STILL RUNNING LIKE NEW. IT'S QUIET, SPACIOUS, AND I CAN TAP A NAP AND WAIT FOR THE FINISHED WASH ALARM SO THAT I CAN RELOAD. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

Waste of money
from Fort Wayne
We've only had this washer since 8/2012 and have had to replace the belts about a couple of months ago. Now the whole bearing system is out and it'll cost $260 to replace. We're getting another washer all together. We don't have a lot of money & this machine was more expensive which we thought would benefit us in the long run. We were wrong! I can't believe how much money we've wasted on it.
