Comments about Yamaha Dolby Digital 5.1 Receiver:

Huge improvement over my old Sony receiver. I have large 5.1 Klipsch speakers and they work flawlessly together. Monster bass and clarity. There are sounds that I've never noticed until I bought this. Best receiver for the price by far. It does need the 4th HDMI input button on the receiver. Doesn't make sense that they would leave it off. My Sennheiser HDR 170 wireless headphones pair perfectly with Yamahas Silent Cinema.

Comments about Yamaha Dolby Digital 5.1 Receiver:

This was a great, moderately-priced upgrade to my pre-HDMI Yamaha unit. It has all the features I was looking for in a home theater unit, plus some I hadn't thought of. I was a bit concerned about the sound when I first hooked it up, but the auto-setup using the provided microphone did an excellent job of providing well balanced 5.1 sound. I also like that I can view settings on my TV. I don't know what I would need that would justify additional hundreds of dollars other units cost. I didn't realize, until I got this unit, how much better HDMI video would be on my HD TV, as compared to the composite video I had to use on my older unit. It was like getting a new TV.

Comments about Yamaha Dolby Digital 5.1 Receiver:

Good price. Makes me happy. Since I'm not technical minded, and since there was not a printed manual I had to ask a friend to help me hook it up. There was a disk to show what to do but I had too tough of a time and got help. The sound is very good and it replaces a Sony that I've had for years. SRW from Nashville, Tn. said he got a printed copy of directions but I didn't.

Love this AV Receiver. Very glad I went with Yamaha rather then any other brand. Amazing Receiver and High Quality for a great Price. Wow, can't see why anyone would be disappointed in Yamaha Products. Highly recommend. I am now a huge Yamaha enthusiast. Why would I waste my money on other brands with Higher prices and less quality? I will not be. Thanks Yamaha for amazing products. Very HAPPY:-)

Comments about Yamaha Dolby Digital 5.1 Receiver:

I purchased this receiver to enhance my new Smart TV. Overall it was challenging to synchronize the two units. Both had ARC connections however I could not get them to function. I found out that "high speed" HDMI cables were necessary. The optical audio connection worked fine however I wanted to utilize the ARC features for all device connections. The high speed cables made that happen. The DVD manual is tedious to say the least and I had to keep my laptop running to understand how to proceed with setup. The SMART TV was no better as their manual was all online. After several days, both units are working fine and the sound it great.

I bought this product to enhance watching TV and movies. Especially like the HDMI connections because it really brings back the life of the audio quality. I use Klipsch HD600 5.1 speakers and am really impressed with the fullness of the sound of these speakers matched with my V-375.

Comments about Yamaha Dolby Digital 5.1 Receiver:

Works wonderfully except for one issue. I have it set to use HDMI 2 (cable). After using it with the Blu Ray, I turn on the TV, and the video comes on, but not the sound. It switches to AV1. Switching it back to HDMI2, it will sometimes go, and sometimes not. If I turn everything off, unplug the HDMI cable coming from the cable box, plug it back in, and turn things back on, THEN tell it to use HDMI 2, it will work. Annoying. Other than that, It's a great system for the money.

Comments about Yamaha Dolby Digital 5.1 Receiver:

I bought the RX-V375 as a technology refresh because my old A/V receiver did not have HDMI inputs or outputs. The RX-V375 came with just the right mixture of inputs and outputs for my mix of old and new equipment. It allowed me to connect my turn table and cassette deck as well as the newer equipment. I use the RX-V375 for 5.1 surround sound in a mid-sized room with a 17 foot ceiling. The setup was extremely easy using the provided microphone to automatically adjust the sound to the acoustics of the room. The HDMI control of my other components (TV/Blu-Ray/Roku) makes life much simpler when switching sources and when turning the system on/off. The ability to rename the inputs is also a great feature.

The RX-V375 provides excellent quality for the price point. I now have a system that sounds great and works cooperatively with other components.
