The Yamaha YSP-3300 digital sound projector. While most sound bars offer a virtual surround experience, Yamaha's digital sound projectors utilize a revolutionary technology to control 16 individual beam speakers. When precisely done, discrete sound beams or channels are created. These beams are then directed to reflect off of walls or other surfaces in the living room. Amazingly, they all arrive at the seating area from the exact direction from where a standard surround speaker would have been placed. True multi-channel surround from a sleek, low profile center unit which sits conveniently in front of the TV or on the optional wall bracket. To expand the bottom end, the system includes a performance matched wireless subwoofer that can be conveniently placed vertically or horizontally anywhere in the room.
Besides great enveloping surround sound for the whole room, an ingenious application of this YSP is target mode. When activated, you can easily aim all the sound beams to a single seating position. Target mode is great for enjoying TV late night without disturbing others in the same room, or it can create a focused listening area in noisy environments. While all this technology may sound difficult to use, it's not. The IntelliBeam auto-calibration system makes setup a breeze. If you're concerned about blocking the TV's remote sensor with the sound projector, the remote repeater located on the back will transmit the signal to the TV so TV operation is not affected. With 4 HDMI video inputs capable of passing 4K and 3D video, the YSP-3300 truly is an all-in-one home entertainment center. If streaming music interests you, check out the Yamaha's optional YIT-W12 wireless transmitter to stream music from iPod, iPhone, iPad devices, or Mac and PC using Yamaha's yAired technology. The Yamaha YSP-3300 produces a high quality surround experience from an easy to use, beautifully styled home entertainment system.
