Comments about Bose® SoundLink® Bluetooth® Speaker III - Silver:
I've owned probably every packable sound system ever made and this is better hands down. Fantastic sound. Great battery life, goes anywhere. My only complaint is that you can't pair a whole bunch of these things in some great Wall of sound daisy chain, I would like some kind of connecting bridge and then I would buy a few more.

Good sound, really poor battery
Sound is good, problem is battery goes dead in a week of non use if you don't leave it plugged in. I have li-ion batteries in drills that I can leave for months without charging. Another problem is Bluetooth needs to be re-synced almost every time. For the price I expected better. I wouldn't buy it again.

Fantastic piece of kit!
I bought this after trying the new B&O A1 and A2 both of which didn't come close considering their status and higher prices. Tried the new KEF muo which gave very good high pitch quality but struggled to fill a 3x3metre room also had no bass at all. The bose will easily fill a 6x3m room with clarity and a decent kick of bass at a loud enough volume to enjoy. Bluetooth range on my samung s5 has covered up to 25m with a workshop in the way.

Beautiful sound with annoying tendencies
The sound of this speaker is absolutely beautiful, as tends to be the case for the Bose products I've owned over the years. Its sound is well-balanced through the ranges of tones, with crisp, clear sound and deep bass. The biggest problem I have with this unit is the Bluetooth connectivity, and the lack of an app or other interface to manage the devices. I've had significant issues with getting it to connect with either my Macbook Pro or Windows laptops, and altogether too frequently have to reset the Bluetooth devices or the entire unit. It also has an annoying tendency to connect to the wrong device, even when I have a device streaming music. If this had better management abilities of the devices connected, this would be a hands-down five star rating.
I bought this a few months back and there's an issue with the battery? Usually when I plug the charger it would make a sound and blink yellow. Now, it just makes the sound and does not give that yellow glow.
Bad battery and music keeps cutting out
I purchased 2 of these and they both gave me the same problem. I LOVED THE SOUND, but it was very disappointing that the battery wouldn't hold a charge and the audio kept cutting in and out

I've had this unit for two weeks now and it's quality and sounds great. Bluetooth is perfect.

I love, that last hours... another featurings also good, but the best is the battery life XD
Good but not great
I've owned Generation I and II of Soundlink as well as SL Mini, and when this model came out I instantly added it to my BOSE family. Unfortunately, this turns out to be a huge disappointment. For a normal speaker I couldn't be happier about the sound---netrual, balanced with a hint of warmth towards low end, yet this is bose I'm talking about: any BOSE PRODUCT isn't supposed to sound this thin and lifeless especially when compared to SL I and II. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

I bought mine a year ago and use it frequently for expanded sound range for outdoor movie showings. Plugs into the projector and does a fantastic job. Deep base and clear sound. Plenty of power to listen outdoor. Absolutely love this speaker.
