We bouhgt this unit to replace a 26 Cu ft Maytag top freezer and becasue it seemed so much smaller we bought additional under coudnter refrigeration as well. But it hold a lot of stuff! It does make acomadating taller thinkgs like Milk jugs and wine bottles a difficult propostion wiht all the shelve in place. We have chosen to "squeeze" these thngs in by tilting instead of removing a shelf. The ohter shelves ( with one in position to hold tall itmes) will only take itmes no talle rthan a can of soda, but stacking palsitc leftover contaiers is easy.

The door will not hold a gallon of milk and are nto tall enough for a 2 liter soda, but if arranged appropriately will hold a half gallon juice container. Problem with the door shelves is that you cannot "stack" the shelves on on top of another you lose some space ( approxitmaely 2 inches) between shelves, especially the shelf with a door that has no need for any clearance above

All in all we are happy and have made it work and it looks fabulous and is uspposed to be very eficient.
