It was good as an e-reader but couldn't see many videos because Adobe Flash Player was not compatible with unit. Had to return it.

We bought two of these units as Christmas presents.
The charging port one one stopped working within 2 weeks, and second one it failed in less than one month. One unit failure might be a fluke, two mean than quality of manufacture is not good. If they were solid machines they would be very good but they are not solid machines!

Purchased this for my granddaughter (Because I didn't want to spend 500-600 on an IPAD). After a few weeks, I am indeed impressed.Initially, it asked permission to upgrade to 2.3.3 (which works just fine). I downloaded the [@] app so I could expand my app selection. I've subsequently downloaded Angry Birds (get the ad-free version -- it's worth it), Bubble buster and a few others -- they work just great.I downloaded Meridian for my music/media manager (works much better than the one that comes with the tablet). Then I plugged in (via USB) to my laptop and created a MUSIC directory. I've got access to all of the MP3 files on my laptop (and after downloading mp4 video files from laptop to the tablet), Meridian is perfect for playing those videos.I've downloaded some e-books from the [@] and they work just fine. I've had no problem accessing wireless internet in my house and the browser works just fine.Haven't used all of the other utilities available (and I haven't used Getjar because others aren't impressed with it).FOr the price (bought for [$] online at PC Richard & Sons), I'm thoroughly impressed. It's not as fast as an IPAD, but it's a fraction of the cost ! My granddaughter is thrilled that she can watch videos, listen to her music, play games and get her email from grandpa when she needs to. Complaints? - It doesn't work with websites that use Adobe Flash (although I may figure that one out soon) and just once it froze. But I rate it at 98% reliable and for the price, you can't beat it !

It was the best thing that ever happened to me because I wanted one but I didn't have the money when I looked on here I was amazed by the price.

I bought 3 of them, one of them had an issue qith calibrating because the instructions say "press then up" It should read press then let go.

First tablet I have purchased, yes, Im sure there are better ones. But for the [$] with shipping you cant go wrong. We bought for our 15 year old son for xmas and cant put it down and havent even given it to him yet. We still have 2 weeks before Christmas so I think I will get one for myself and leave his alone :-) Highly recommend downlodaing amazon apps its free and easy to do. Still researching this great little device.
