this is a great small range. i love to cook and bake and have never had a problem with uneven baking. the fan is great and while the other reviewer is correct that it runs after you finish baking/cooking, it will run for a shorter period of time if you leave the oven door propped open. i love the choice of 3 different intensities of heat from the burners. and i can boil water for tea in about 3 minutes. also, it fits a standard size cookie sheet, which the 20" ranges dont!

Bought this stove over a year ago and have had mixed emotions about it ever since. I was expecting exceptional performance given the price, but the BTU's from the back two burners is just not enough (can barely boil a 2-quart pot of water). And, the front two burners don't have enough range of heat. I.e, it's hard to simmer rice at a low enough temperature. The oven works fine, but be warned that the fan stays on after you have turned off the oven until the internal temperature has been lowered. It can stay on for up to an hour after you're done. OK for me as the kitchen is separate from the dining room and I can just shut the door, but be leary in open concept apartments!
