Air Conditioner Installation & Plug Types

When selecting a room air conditioner, you’ll need to consider what type of installation you’ll require. Will you be installing your A/C in a window? Will you be installing it through your wall?

Live in an apartment and can’t install an A/C in a window or wall? That doesn’t mean you can’t get one. A portable air conditioner is the perfect solution; they’re easy to set up and will cool your space nicely. Plus, you can move a portable A/C from room to room if you decide you want it somewhere else.

All air conditioners must be plugged in. Plug types today are available in multiple configurations:

110 volt 15-amp plug 110 volt 20-amp plug 220 volt plugs (15, 20, or 30-amp configurations)
