So what's the difference between comfort and support? Comfort is what you're going to feel when you first lie down the bed. And this is going to help you fall asleep. Support on the other hand, is designed to keep your body in a neutral position and your spine in proper alignment helping you stay asleep.

Other than comfort and support, there are other factors that may be preventing you from getting a great night's sleep. Do you have a toss and turn to the middle of the night? Or maybe it's your partner that's tossing and turning waking you up. Do your hands and feet ever get numb? Do you ever wake up uncomfortable and Overheated? All of these are known as sleep disrupters. As preventing you from getting a great night's sleep.

Today's mattresses have technology designed to address all of these problems. You have your standard in their spring mattress which we're all familiar with. But today memory foam is become very popular. When there are no springs it's all foam. There's also another technology known as hybrid. Hybrid mattresses utilize the inner spring like a standard mattress but they cover the top layer with memory foam.

Something you must also consider is the size of the mattress. Mattresses are available from twin to California King. A lot of people don't realize that when replacing the mattress, you should also replace the box spring. Box springs and mattresses are designed to work together as a set. Placing your mattress on an all box spring will definitely inhibit the performance and the longevity of your new mattress.

So therefore once you find the right pillow, make sure you use that pillow on every mattress that you test. Now we selected the proper pillow, let's turn all of our attention towards the mattress. As you're lying on the mattress, in your sleep position, ask yourself, do I prefer this mattress to be firmer or more plush?
