One Shockingly Stupid Flaw
Would have been perfect if where fan fits onto pole it came down more making the entire assembly firmer.

Difficult to assemble
Instructions were very perfunctory. For example it said to remove the blade cap before putting the rear grille on but actually you have to remove two pieces - not only the blade cap but also the piece behind it - perhaps it is called the "blade base". You will frustrate yourself trying to get the grille on the shaft until you realize you must remove another piece that the instructions neglected to mention. And so it went, assembly was frustrating up to the last step when the instructions said "snap the front grille on the rear grille." LOL! No snapping happened - I had to use a two screwdrivers and a ton of elbow grease to get the front grille to fit into the rear grille and got a gash on my thumb in the process. I'll live. Once assembled , it does seem to cool fine , as expected for such fans. It is quiet and I appreciate that it is black and not utilitarian white. I would only recommend it to a friend who is very handy. i didn't read reviews before but if I had I probably wouldn't have purchased it because the only positive ones state explicitly that the review was written after the consumer obtained the fan free as part of a promotion . Not exactly a context for impartiality

Not a fan of this fan.
Noisier than anticipated. Also flimsy in design, with a small piece breaking during assembly. We gave it away.

Fan works, but oscillation is unstable
The fan works and definitely serves its purpose. The legs on the bottom of the stand are fairly long and do spread out a lot, taking up more floor space than I would like, but I'm getting used to that. The only real problem with it is that, as the fan oscillates from left to right (when you're looking at it from the front), it moves gradually farther right, so it no longer begins where it was originally pointing on the left, and it ends farther to the right than where you wanted it to go. It's very hard to control that.

Not PC Richard's fault.....but fan is cheap and made of plastic. Base broke when putting it together. Won't buy this brand again.
