Make sure you measure twice before you buy the sleeve. I got the wrong size the first time and find out before the installation.

The Mighty Friedrich A/C

Works but oversized for the uni-fit series and could not attach grill to sleeve. Grill needed to be attached to the AC unit

Generic Sleeve
Generic sleeve. Not a mated, easy fit for Friedrich Uni-Fit 10,000 BTU Air Conditioner. Seems shorter than it needs to be causing AC to extend well into room.

Grille that comes with Uni-Fit AC doesn't fit USC!
TERRIBLE instructions. During installation have an extra piece of metal with diamonds that looks like it should go at the back of the sleeve but no instructions refer to it AT ALL. Then the grille that comes with the AC has pre-drilled holes that don't align with the USC sleeve. My installer had to drill new holes to attach the grille to the sleeve, because btw it's too big to attach to the back of the Unifit AC as an alternative. Who designed this product????

Pricey piece of junk
Thin gauge , flimsy Cheaply made . This is a universal fit sleeve size, my brand new Frederick vibrates like crazy because it is a very loose fit on the width and sleeve is to short on the depth . its garbage ..

No. Also - don’t let them convince you that this will work with the friedrich chill window / wall slide out series. It doesn’t.
