Easy to use
Had to replace over the oven Kenmore microwave purchased in 2018 due to defective part, cheaper to replace than to repair. Wanted white but only model left on sale was stainless but meshed well with white stove. Looks nice. Since I only use to reheat and cook popcorn I opted for less bells and whistles for basic controls. New microwave is very easy to use, no need to refer back to instruction book. Very Happy to date.

There is a very loud, annoying noise that comes out of the microwave each time you use it. It just started happening about a week ago and it is not even a month old yet that I have it and it didn't happen before. Anyone know why this is happening?

Wondering if the mounting bracket I have now for my GE Spacemaker jvm1650sh will be the same as this model? Doesn’t sound like it will from comments
I replaced an older GE Microwave with this GE model and the bracket footprint had indeed changed and needed replacing but it wasnt a big problem! More importantly the change meant that different holes had to be drilled in the overhead cabinet.and I would recommend that if an installer is doing the job to take care that holes are drilled BEFORE the microwave is put on its bracket or a ton of wood shavings will end up inside the interstices of the microwave as I discovered when needing service.

I must replace GE model JVM 1540SPSS. Does new one use same brackets for installation?
Bracket is very similar but mounting holes are off by a little bit I was very annoyed by this change and had to improvise exact replacement microwave and they had to change mounting holes was not happy by this

does this have a full bracket on the back or a top or bottom bracket? Just had a new micro delivered to find out i can't use a bottom bracket.
The microwave comes with a "I_I" type mounting bracket. it goes through the bottom and two sides (back of the microwave facing the wall) of the microwave.
