It has a powerful vent fan. The light feature can be turned to high when cooking and low for just an accent light. The switches on the outside panel make it easy to heat things up, with just a press of one button and the time can be adjusted by pressing the same button to increase the time. The smudge resistant finish helps to keep the microwave looking clean.

Lake my previous reviews of all the other pieces in the package, I remain concerned of the "grade" of stainless steel and it's unfortunate sensitivity to maintenance issue which have developed immediately after installation.....IE extreme tendency for spotting/difficulty cleaning and tendency of scratching....I am very proactive in product and cleaning cloths used so it is truly a manufacturer's issue.

We never needed the high profile microwave cabinet, so the low profile unit makes so much sense. The area between the stove and microwave is greatly increased, making cooking easier. The exhaust fan has four levels and has a low noise output. Two excellent improvements to our kitchen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we needed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed an OTR microwave but did not want to compromise our ability to cook on the cooktop or not capture fumes when cooking. This fits the bill. Due to our kitchen design we are not able to exhaust outside but in the recirculation setup the fan adequately captures the fumes and minimizes odors. The tradeoff is that the fan is somewhat noisy. A much lower 'low' speed setting would be an improvement. Overall, we're very happy with our choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looove this Microwave [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had this about a month, so I can’t speak to the reviews that say the words on the buttons wear off, but so far, I love this microwave. I’ve found I don’t need the extra height, and the look of the low profile makes my kitchen look much more modern. In addition, the functionality is so much better than what I used to have. The popcorn button makes perfect popcorn every time, I use the butter soften button almost daily, and the exhaust fan is efficient when I’m cooking on the stove. I also appreciate how easy it is to remove and clean and then put back in. Overall, I might be a little too excited by this microwave, but an appliance that does more than you even expected, really makes my time in the kitchen even better. It’s the little things….
