Easy to set up!
Repeat Nighthawk customer here! Router was super easy to set up and get rolling right out of the box. Found the app instructions insert in the box and figured I would it give it a try. App takes you step by step on how to set up along with several options to customize your network. Not technical or confusing at all. Don’t have to look up additional instructions or anything fancy to get this router set up. The Nighthawk app outside of initial set up gives you options to set up guest networks, change network details, and see what devices are connected. Several other features are displayed as well. This is huge for me since it means I can just access everything from my phone instead of having to be in front of the computer. Again, awesome product and great to see the Nighthawk line staying strong with the quality.

The XR500 is light-years faster than any router I've ever used!!!
I'm in an upstairs apartment, and I can walk downstairs, and even outside around the yard, and still get WiFi reception!

Works Great
I've used the router for more than a year now. I didn't register it or take advantage of everything it offers until recently. It has worked great. Excellent coverage and fast speeds. I've never had any issues with it. Now that I finally I am using the software/app for it, it also provides a lot of great options for controlling all your wifi needs.

More than worth it
This router allowed me to have the control I needed to play games at a very high level. Prior to my router purchase my online gaming skill was being limited by internet connections. Any game that is giving me trouble this router allows me to take back control of the bad routing and connections for a good gaming experience. Outside of that I am also able to control every device in the house which allows me to enjoy the simple things outside of gaming as well in case there is some congestion going on that I normally wouldn’t be able to fix.

AMAZING ROUTER
I upgraded to the XR500 recently and it is hands down the best I have had so far... especially for the price. the DL and UL speeds are insane when hardwired or through WIFI. The range and connectivity are 2nd to none. 10/10 highly recommend

This router fixed my NAT type 3 issue I was having, I can run multiple gaming systems without any issues. My first Netgear router. I think I'll stick with Netgear for good. Worth the investment.

Starlink Gaming
Got this router because the one that came with my starlink internet was not having a consistent signal and would often times have an extremely high ping when playing any games. Now that I have the nighthawk I can run two hard wired connections without issues and the wifi is just as fast as the wired connection with no connection issues. If you're looking to replace your router that came with starlink internet or just need a good router I would definitely recommend the nighthawk.
