Overview

Premier 36" 5-Burner Free Standing Gas Range - Bisque

The SLK249 is the same at the SLK240 except for the 5th Burner. Also with it's Bakeview Window & Light and Side Compartment makes cooking a lot easier. It also has Electronic Ignition System, which allows ALL burners, including the Oven, to be lit with a match in case of a power faliure. The Porcelain top makes it a whole lot easier to clean up spills and nasty messes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Premier 36” oven 1. The gradation on each dial does not match the flame. In other words when you have the dial at high it remains on high until towards the very end where it should be low. Hard to explain but it is very difficult to judge what your flame is unless if you bend over and look at the flame. 2. When you cook something in the oven at over 400° all of the dials are hot to the touch. 3. The oven door does not easily stay open when you open it. You need to open it and then hold it for a couple seconds and then let go. I have a couple burns on my hand and wrist because of this poorly designed oven door. 4. The oven radiates so much heat into the kitchen and yet does not seem to retain as much heat in the oven itself. 5. Not sure what they are called. but the bars that go on top of each burner are somewhat slippery.

How high is stove from floor to oven top not counting back?

This is listed with an "Overall Height" of 46" with a Backguard that is 10" - so with that said it should be 36" without the backguard. Width: 36" Depth excl. Handles: 26" Oven Width: 25" Oven Height: 15" Oven Depth: 18" Backguard: 10" Deluxe Glass w/ Electronic Clock & Timer
