It removes odors like onions
The air filter works very well in our refrigerator. We have put thinks such as sliced onions in the refrigerator and the smell did not transfer to other food. You could not smell onions in the refrigerator either. We cook lots of dishes with garlic in them. Again, none of the garlic smell is detectable in the refrigerator. The Electrolux activated charcoal filter removes all the food smells in the refrigerator. It lasts for six months. Replacement filters work very well. I a happy with this product. I am glad that my refrigerator manufacturer chose Electrolux activate charcoal filters as the filter to use for this refrigerator.

THEY HAD IT
Went to the local appliance store and they didn't know about an air filter for the fridge. So I looked at the filter that I took out of the fridge and it had this website to order new ones from. Went online, searched the site and was able to get a couple filters for a decent price and quick shipping.

The refrigerator air filter two-pack was exactly what I needed and fits perfectly. However, I wasn't sure I had made the right choice until the product actually arrived. The info provided on the Electrolux website was not very informative, with no way to tell if the filters were correct for my appliance. The product is satisfactory, but the site needs more product info.

Electrolux side by side refrigerator
Purchased in July, 2011. Shelving well constructed, but problem with icemaker dispenser. Shute keeps opening and closing by itself, making loud disturbing noises. Replacing air and water filters no help.
