Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbiased Very easy to use and maintains temp pretty good, it is a fuel hog so I might do the door mod a lot of people do to help eliminate that issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from smoke em if you got em I was recommended this smoker by a friend that told me it was the best smoker to get started with. My friend does competition smoking and still uses his when he doesn't want to fire up his larger smoker. I got the 22 inch so that I can have enough room to smoke plenty of meats. It is easy to assemble and very user friendly. It holds temperature well and has been a great smoker to learn with. It is easy to move around and does not take up much space. I am extremely happy with it and look forward to years of use, perfecting the art and science of smoking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoy the process I love it. It’s a process to use, like other smokers, but you have to enjoy the process. I would buy another or suggest it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised Best Christmas turkey I ever smoked. Maintains a consistent temperature. Cooked turkey on the top and smoked baked beans below. Much easier to control than my old offset smoker Fairly easy cleanup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 22in Smokey Mountain I’ve been cooking on Weber equipment my whole life. I have three 22 kettles and now the Smokey Mountain which I ran for the first time last weekend, 3 racks of baby back ribs which turned out perfect! Way better than my electric smoker. It held a perfect 225 degrees the entire smoke. This is my fourth smoker and without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. If you like cookin with charcoal like I do you can’t beat a Weber!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I'd Bought My Smokey Mountain 22.5 Years Ago My Weber Smoky Mountain 22.5 Smoker is a perfect complement to my Weber Genesis Gas Grill. It has plenty of cooking surface, cook temperature stability is excellent, and ash cleanup the next day is a breeze since the base can be picked and dumped in a garbage bag. I've used it for a pork butt and turkey legs so far. On my horizon is a smoked Thanksgiving turkey and some beef plate ribs. I'm glad I purchased my WSM.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from R2Diva I love my smoker aka R2Diva. I so not need a different door or many of the additional fixtures. I woukd however state that the hinge is a necessity. Hope future models include it. I also think pre drilled holes should come in the leg stands to add wheels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Cooker Smoker 22" is in a whole new league After 35 years of experience with the Weber 18" "Bullet", I'm using my new Smokey Mountain Cooker 22" for the first time today. As useful as are the 18" cookers (I have worn out many of them), it it a real treat to have graduated to the 22". Now there will be lots more room for cooking baby back ribs without being concerned that they will touch the sides of the smoker or be on top of each other. The most important improvement, though is the ability to monitor and control cooking temperature. The thermometer at the top is a big help, but better still is the rubber covered port for inserting thermometers to measure both food and cooking temperatures. Today I'm smoking pork shoulder and stuffed flank steak roulades, and I'm confident I'll know when they're done but not overcooked. Can't wait to taste the food!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weber Smokey Mountain 22.5 Great cooker! My favorite cooks are ribs and pork butt. I have also done a brisket on the grill and everything came out well. It's very user friendly. Once you get the vents set up right, it's on auto pilot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The reviews are spot on. After researching smokers for months I purchased the Smokey because of the Weber name and previous reviews of other owners so glad I did. This smoker is as good as they say.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best smoker on the market very impressed with this smoker. I have had many different type of smoker and this one is by far the easiest to us . very easy to maintain the correct temp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Massive cooking space, easy to use I've had an 18" WSM for years, so when I got the opportunity to get a 22" I couldn't pass it up. The amount of real estate that thing has is crazy. It's basically two 22" kettle stacked on top of each other. The water pan is great for heat retention and moisture control. The bullet design gives you the easiest smoke you will every get. Much more than a pellet or offset. Overall, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smokey Mountain 22 is awesome The WSM 22 is fantastic! It is simple to use, holds steady FOREVER!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great place to begin. This smoker is better than anything I’ve used or seen used. The ability to add water, or keep around the moisture and fat dripping from the meat adds plenty of options and flavor to any cook. The reservoir acts as a direct heat diffuser, so indirect heat is easily gained and sustained. The seal at the big door is incomplete, but this adds to the overall charm and simplicity of the smoker. It’s got a small footprint (compared to its capacity) and is straight forward use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding for ling smokes Been using the Kettle for smoking and it was great but this was an upgrade for control, taste and texture. Outstanding unit, glad i have the 22!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New to Smoking I'm a new smoker. Tried and tried and I could never get it quite right. After doing some research and lots of YouTube'n, the WSM was my pick. True to form, this thing holds temperature very well and my first brisket and pull pork came out like show stoppers! Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Having fun with the WSM Awesome cooker from what I’ve seen so far. Venting is different than doing low and slow on my 26” kettle which I’ve been doing the last 13+ years and roughly 35 years in general on a kettle, so I’m still getting used to that. I put a gasket on the top part for the lid and have no smoke leakage (was minimal before) and now going to do the door where there is minimal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First timer on Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker New Smoker owner Well constructed smoker but could use some handles on the second tier of the unit. Seems to use a large amount of charcoal during a long cook, perhaps I’m missing some tips on heat control and fire management? Overall I would suggest this Weber Smoker to anyone wanting to produce a great finished product and also large or small quantities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good! My first cook was baby back pork ribs. Second cook was a 15 pound Angus beef brisket. Both cooks went extremely well. The smoker held temperature consistently and the design makes it easy to add charcoal and wood chunks when/if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good investment and good pass time! Is an excellent smoker. Easy to use, very stable for low and constant temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Produces lots of smoke! Great Smoker - smoked some chicken so far and it was fantastic! My wife filled up the freezer with more chicken and now I am booked for weekends to come...lol. The trick for me was too learn how much charcoal to put in for a complete smoke. Hickory works really good and it is large enough to accommodate one log per smoke! Now I have a Weber smoker and a Weber BBQ grill. Weber really knows how to make a good smoker/grill. I also purchased the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub that came with an ambient temperature sensor and a meat sensor. I purchased an extra meat sensor because there are two racks that do run at different temperatures - not much but there is a difference. It is a bit more work than the pellet fed grills, but the smoked meat tastes much better!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great smoker, holds temp all day long My 22” WSM has met all expectations. I’ve gone 15 hours with a full basket of charcoal briquettes with wood chunks holding temps ranging from 225-275. I’ve smoked and ribs, pork butt and brisket so far. I’ll be trying whole chickens next. I’ve had many Weber Kettles and offset smokers so I wants to try out the Weber Smokey Mountain and I am not disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Choice This is perfect smoker if you are willing to mod it. Customer service was excellent too. My center piece was warped and they shipped me a new smoker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can easily compete with the most expensive smokers I've had the 14" smokey mountain for a couple of years and have been wanting an upgrade for a long time. Decided the time was finally right and got the 22". Easily has enough room for full racks of ribs and brisket. Already was familiar with how it works from using the 14" for so long so cooking was already a breeze. For the price you really cannot go wrong with this. Not to mention the amount of additional mods and features you can install from 3rd party vendors.

WHAT IS THE LARGEST SIZE TURKEY & SMALLEST SIZE IN WEBER SMOKER

Asked by: IRMA
I’ve smoked a 20lb turkey on mine, it’s the 22” smoker, Weber makes a 18” also but I like the 22” I was able to control the smoker at 250 degrees throughout the smoking process with the vents.
