Performer Deluxe Charcoal Grill 22"
With a push of a button, the coals are lit, and the essence of BBQ fills the air. The Performer Deluxe charcoal grill performs from beginning to end. Light coals with the Touch-N-Go gas ignition, prep food on the large work table, and know that cleanup will be easy with the One-Touch cleaning system. All that's left is to sit back and enjoy the performance.

Touch-N-Go Ignition
The electronic Touch-N-Go gas ignition system allows you to ignite charcoal with the push of a button.
Superior Heat Retention
The porcelain-enameled lid and bowl retain heat for a consistent temperature and even cooking. The finish also prevents rusting, cracking, and peeling while withstanding high grilling temperatures.
Tuck-Away Lid Holder
Conveniently slide the lid over to the side of the grill, tuck it away, to avoid placing it on the ground while grilling.
Gourmet BBQ System Hinged Cooking Grate
Remove the circular grate insert and replace it with a griddle, poultry roaster, pizza stone, or any of the many Gourmet BBQ System inserts to choose from. The hinged grate makes it easy to add charcoal while grilling.
Convenient Charcoal Storage
The weather-protected CharBin storage container is a convenient way to store charcoal so that it's by the grill, where and when you need it.
Lid Thermometer
The built-in lid thermometer displays the internal temperature of your grill so that you know when to adjust the heat.

Charcoal Grilling - Made Easier Than Ever!
I’ve been a griller and own quite a few grills. I decided to upgrade my Weber Kettle - and was this the best decision I ever made!
The best feature: The gas-assist charcoal starter. Put your charcoal chimney in the bottom of the grill. Pop the button - and presto - your charcoal is being started. It’s uses the little camping type propane bottles. It sounds like a mini torch…there’s so much direct flame getting to the coals. After about 3-4 minutes….(you) turn the gas assist off…and coals are ready in about 10 minutes. This feature works fast!
The kettle in the cart is quite nice. Janette work surface to set plates etc. The storage below or the pull out charcoal bin….all makes grilling easier.
The roll off and holds the lid mechanism…again, a really nice feature. You just slide the grill over to the side….it tucks into a basket like area…in a split second…..ans easier than trying to tip the lid more…find that old style interior tab, to hang on the side of the kettle.
Cooking performance: What else is there to say:
It’s the same tried and true Weber kettle design cook. It’s the best around forever, in charcoal style cooking.

So glad to be back in the Weber Family!
I had a Performer that I got rid of several years ago (that I had for 10+ years but I left it outside and did not cover it. Rust finally made it unusable.) I went a different brand/style/direction for a replacement and instantly regretted my decision, it had ZERO air control even after I added high temp BBQ Gasket. I hated it so much I bascically stopped grilling. I had the new Performer delivered and assembled for free by Amazon less than a month ago. Immediately did a maiden burn (with no food) to burn off any manufacturing gunk, then used it later that same day for dinner. Love it! When it was cooled off that night I wiped her down and put the cover on. I won't encourage this one to an early demise. Have been grilling several times per week... need to pick up more charcoal soon!

The total package
I bought this grill about 7 years ago and it has done everything that a Weber grill should do. My Dad taught me how to work a Weber. He had a rather unusual weber I have only seen one like it but I know they made them at one time. It was on a wheel barrow frame so it could be moved easily. He had the grill for at least 30 years when he died now my brother has it. This thing can smoke up some awesome ribs. The charcoal holder will hold a full bag of charcoal. The gas charcoal starter is nice also.

The Game Changer
The performer deluxe is a game changer for those who do a lot of grilling. The propane lighting mechanism alone allows for a quick, even burn to get the coals hot quickly. With the attached table there is plenty of workspace available for prepping. I highly recommend this product from Weber.

Haven't used the grill yet due to weather but had it assembled in a couple of hours on the day it was delivered. Everything was here and seemed heavy duty. I am impressed with all the features Weber built into this model including propane charcoal igniter, charcoal storage, multi grill oppenings temp gage, timer, ash dump feature, etc. I really like the look of the hammered finish on the work table. Cant wait for weather to warm up so i can use it.

It's been a long time since I've used a charcoal grill. With the gas-flame charcoal lighting feature, it makes getting started so much easier, and no lighter fluid to deal with. The grill heats up quickly, and the charcoal baskets make it easy to control where the heat is coming from. I'm very happy with my purchase.

If you are looking for a do it all grill, you cannot go wrong with a Weber Kettle. If you have the money this specific model makes grilling life easy. Using the onboard gas to start the charcoal is very convenient and the table is handy.

2008 purchase and still going
I have had this with a gas assist since 2008 (maybe 2007) and here we are in 2024 and it's still working. I have been thinking about buying the new one. Unless Weber develops a wider version, I will continue to stick with Weber and this model. I have grilled and smoked on this grill and I have loved every moment.

Great grill. Needs a bulk LP connection kit.
The grill worked flawlessly. I used it three nights in a row to grill salmon, chicken, then burgers. The propane lighter works for easy lighting. I just wish there was a bulk LP attachment to connect to our house propane.

Best Grill Ever
This grill is absolutely beautiful and fun to cook on. The propane start and the trays for the briquettes are game changers. Cooking burgers takes only about 6 minutes after a 5 minute start and 15-20 minute burn. I bought the cover and it is good but I would like snaps to secure it tighter so that rain does not accumulate on the side table. The ease of cleaning just terrific and the aroma of true charcoal and smokey flavor of food is second to none. The grill rolls nicely on pavers and locks in place. Bought the Weber Connect and it is very cool but the probes are not water proof and I believe I have ruined two already but it's still great to be able to monitor temps.

Super outdoor cooking platform
A super stable grilling platform with a perfect size grill, table, on wheels. Storage for charcoal is super convenient. The propane starter is as great as I thought it would be. I light charcoal in a chimney with the propane and dump right in grill. What could be easier. I highly recommend this grill for all outdoor grilling!

This is the Weber for You.
My other Weber kettle grill is almost 45 yrs old and The Performer Deluxe Charcoal grill addresses the short comings of the old one while maintaining great grilling and smoking performance. Specifically: the ash tray is enclosed and removable, containing them until ready for disposal; the lower vent control is also used to scrape the ash into the tray; the grill grate is hinged on opposing sides for easy adding charcoal during cooking; and the propane starter is perfection. I also like the work surface and the charcoal bin that is built in.

Wish I had originally bought this. Started at the bottom with the lowly kettle. Moved up to Mastertouch. Just to realize I wanted this one. It couldn’t replace my big offset, but for small briskets, roasts, and shoulders and everyday grilling, this is the bomb!
