To top it off, the YETI Tundra 50 cooler even comes with a leak proof Vortex Drain System, gone are the days of struggling to flip your cooler over to empty it after a long day out.
Okay, this is our Yeti Tundra 50. A great all purpose cooler. It can easily hold well over a case of drinks, with plenty of ice, and room left over for your food.
One thing I like about the 50 is, even loaded with your food, ice and beverages, you can still carry it by yourself. Also, due to the cube style design of the 50, it has a small footprint relative to the capacity of a cooler. This is great when packing your SUV or the back of your pick up truck. It's because it doesn't take up that much space.
Also, the 50 is the perfect tailgating cooler and a very popular cooler for casting platforms on poling scales.
The Tundra series featured durable rubber T latches with molded in latch keepers. They have an integrative full length self stopping hinge, which will not hyper extend. Unlike ordinary coolers, Yeti's featured a full frame, freezer quality gasket that seals around the entire lid to minimize air exchange. There are built in tie on slots for solid mounting, that allow access to cooler contents. You can't break the handles on a Tundra, each has two styles. Nylon rope, with a textured grip. As well as an integrated handle to make carrying easier.
The screw in, gasketed drain plugs, are leak proof and rugged. Each has a dry goods rack to prevent soggy sandwiches. All Tundra's have two inches of insulation throughout the cooler body and three inches in the lid, where it matters most. Non slip, non marking rubber feet help keep the cooler where you put it. The Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee, certified Tundra's has bear resistant food containers, when used with two padlocks on both front corners.
There you have it. That's our Tundra 50.
