Perfectly clean dishes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dishes come out spotlessly clean. I love the lights to let you know if they are done. The plate slots are a little wider so they get more exposure to the water. I have owned the diahwasher for a month and not had a single item I needed to rewash.

Cleans well, fast, and energy efficient!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dishwasher! It has everything I want. Stainless steel inside and out for sleek look and high qaulity product. It has 3 slide out drawers 2 for dishes and one top drawer great for smaller things, like kitchen utensils. It is energy efficient and has a quick clean setting that can wash and dry in one hour and is super clean!! its not noisy and has an easy food strainer at the bottom of the dishwasher to catch anything big that may clog or mess up the machine. I have no issues with it so far. It works perfectly!!!

Night Dry is a great feature!

3 Great Things About this Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here are three great things about this dishwasher! 1. It does wash and dry dishes in about an hour. I use the high temperature wash which adds a few minutes more. 2. Generic store brand dishwasher tablets work just as well as national brands, but are less expensive, and 3. It's incredibly quiet.
This dishwasher also has lots of good features and I highly recommend it. I'm glad we bought it and would buy another one, but I anticipate this dishwasher will last a long time! Thanks LG!

Highly Recommend This Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a great dishwasher. Very quiet with superior wash & drying capabilities. The one hour cycle is a nice feature with very good results. The racks allow for large capacity loading. I would like to see slightly more room in the upper most self but not a major issue. An interior light would also be a useful addition. I would also recommend an additional option for the location of the discharge hose other than the bottom left or right side. Some kitchens have services (supplies lines or studor valves, etc) which require the discharge hose to be positioned higher making the dishwasher install somewhat tight and adding to the installation time requirement.

Great dishwasher!
I recently upgraded to the LG dishwasher and overall, it's been a great addition to my kitchen. The 1-hour wash and dry cycle is a real game-changer when I’m in a pinch and need clean dishes quickly.
For drying, the Dynamic Heat Dry™ technology does an excellent job, speeding up the drying process while ensuring that plastics are not melted, which is a common issue with some dishwashers. I really like how quiet the dishwasher is. Overall, this LG dishwasher is a great choice for those looking for a combination of speed, power, and smart features in a quiet and reliable appliance.

It is a great product! It is very quiet, and does the job. Don’t forget the rinse aid which affects dry performance. You can use LG app to download cycle and remote start. Also, it looks cool.

Quiet, efficient, and smart!

I can customize the intensity per rack. I can even wash my stemware!!! Another great feature is the WiFi capability! We were able to connect it to our Alexa! I love that it's done in an hour. Best dishwasher I've owned yet!! Would definitely recommend!

It has a top rack for up to 12 place setting of utensils. I can wash my stemware as well!!! It's wifi capable which is so convenient because the mobile app allows control of the dishwasher remotely, enhanced settings control, and notifications about the wash cycle. We were able to connect it to our Alexa, so we get voice announcements too. Best dishwasher I have owned yet!!

Great overall
I am very pleased with this dishwasher. It dries very well with the high dry boost option and is extremely quiet. Loading is easy, and the top shelf for kitchen utensils is a great bonus in addition to the standard rack on the bottom shelf. All shelfs roll out very smoothly even with full load. It also has a 1-hour cycle, which I used for smaller loads, and it worked great. Additionally, I used the night dry option, which is perfect for us as we tend to leave it overnight, especially if I run the dishwasher late in the day.
The app is easy to use and comes in handy, especially when I forget to start the cycle and am already in bed. The 1-hour cycle is efficient and only increases to 1 hour 33 minutes (or 1 hour 43 minutes with high dry boost) with extra drying time, which is great if the dishes are not too dirty. Overall, this dishwasher has exceeded my expectations and has made kitchen cleanup much more convenient.

LDTH5554S Used for one month, personal opinion. The dishwasher cleans great, I'm just not sure about the sanitize function. Seems like it would get hotter. I also don't like the fact dishwasher doesn't have hold down flaps for plastic ware on the second shelf.

Good Dishwasher Except Missing Tub Light
We got this one to replace an older, nearly identical LG dishwasher that had lost the long battle with my ankles, running into it when the door was down (ouch!).This one has one or two new features, except it does not seem to have an interior tub light. I probably assumed they all did. Bought it online from an orange big box store. The product description on their web site says it has an interior light. I didn't notice it until after 48 hours so could no longer return it. I also has a strange click in the door hinge when you raise the door up to close it. Otherwise, don't get me wrong, this is a nice energy efficient unit and I have always like the ThinkQ app. Just not sure what to do about the missing interior light.

Quiet but rack layout not ideal for dishes
Let me start by saying I wash most pots and pans by hand and use this mostly for dinnerware. This dishwasher is very quiet compared to my last one. That is its best feature. And it fits a LOT of plates. I was very excited about the silverware rack on top, but now it turns out I never use it. When the cycle is over, none of my dishes are completely dry, including the silverware on the top rack. In addition, my silverware doesn't get completely clean on that rack and I can't fit my larger serving spoons sideways on it. So I put silverware in the silverware caddy on the bottom rack. The top rack is wasted space. My serving spoons and cooking utensils won't fit in the slots in the silverware caddy. You you can fold up the slots, but you have to fold up HALF of them, even if you just need a little space. They should have made this foldable in quarters. There is only 1 wider space on the bottom rack, where I could fit my wider soup bowls. But since I have to use that wide space for my utensil caddy, I have to hand wash those items or run my dishwasher mostly empty. Finally, we use a lot of bowls. Salad and cereal every day. And soups. The slots on the bottom rack are great for plates, but are not wide enough for my bowls. The bowls seem to fit on the center rows of the top rack, but then there is not enough room beside them to put my coffee cups and drinking glasses. So I think this dishwasher does a decent job of getting dishes clean (other than the top silverware rack) but the layout does not work for the dishes I use

Horrible drying effect
We have had this for a month now and every single cycle still results in everything being dripping soaking wet like it didn’t dry at all.- even when using the dry boost. About to get someone to look at that and better be covered by warranty!

Cleans well, but NOT quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a replacement dishwasher, and because of my home layout, wanted/needed one that was very quiet. We'll, this is not it. This, at best, is an average dishwasher in terms of sound level. Very disappointing.
As for everything else, it's excellent. Capacity is crazy. You can just keep loading it and loading it. Features are great and the controls are intuitive.
Unfortunately, the sound level let's it's down. I would not have purchased it had I know how loud it was. Bad job by LG on that.

Rack broke within one week
Installed a week ago. Already the middle rack is stuck and is very difficult to open and close. Little metal beads (ball bearings?) have popped out of it and I think one may have even gone into the drain pump. Based on other reviews, this seems like a common issue. The drain hose is also very thick making it almost impossible to install flush in a standard size cabinet.
