Great washer

Wonderful Washer

Maytag is the one for us!

So far, I like it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this only a week or two, so consider that. So far, I'm impressed by the capacity. 4.5 is truly a lot more than 3.5 cubic feet! It seems to be working fine, actually quite similarly to my previous 10 year old Whirlpool. It's quiet by my standards. If I have one complaint, it's that the water fill valves hit a little hard, and cause a slight water hammer in my home's lines. The old washer seemed not to do that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's only been a week but so far so good. I replaced my Whirlpool that only lasted a year and a half and made all kinds of racket. No matter how carefully I loaded it, it became easily unbalanced and walked across the floor. This one is quiet and so far has not been unbalanced. When my Whirlpool dryer goes I will replace it with a match to my new Maytag.
