Does exactly what you need
My church bought one of these a few years ago to provide a LAN for our tech and music crew; we’ve since changed our system and use it in combination with an additional router from our ISP to create a mini-mesh network for our entire facility. Clean and fast, and very easy to set up.

Excellent coverage
Our first Nighthawk lasted over ten years before dying a semi-traumatic death. While it continued to broadcast within 5 feet, the rest of the house suffered. Fortunately, our computer guru suggested we buy another as backup years ago. Well, it finally happened, the original started limping and we are so glad we had the backup! This is perfect for our needs in a 1600 sq. ft. house. I only wish we could find a backup for the backup that isn't used/refurbished :-)A

Works Great
This was fairly easy to install, downloaded the app to my phone and followed directions. I was able to turn off the password security as I live away from any other people and have multiple wi-fi printers, copiers, security systems, smart tvs, remote access point, phones etc, etc, and I HATE have to set everything up for a password. There was no way to turn off the password from the internet providers - Century Link -
router they sent me so bought this Netgear R7000. Love it so far. Currently getting 300mbps on wi-fi.

So good I had to buy another one
Router really fits our needs. We use it for voice over IP and just general Internet access even though it’s an old model we decided to still use it and we have not been disappointed at all, so Netgear thank you for an awesome product.

I've had netgear my whole life and never been disappointed. I got my router a few years ago and absolutely love it. Just bought a modem to match and a wifi extender (for the direct connection, there is more than enough range for my whole house) couldn't recommend enough.
