Very happy with it!
I’ve had a different brand doorbell camera for the past 2 years. The is ring so much better than my last one. There is a good clear wide view and better quality. My phone rings whenever it detects someone at the door or the mailbox. The speaker works well and you can actually understand someone through it. No one can lie about already taking the dog out, as I can pull up the history. I have not needed a plan as the few seconds a day are all we need.

Good product, inexpensive and lots of features.
Great product, worth the purchase price. This thing is super easy to install. Its possible downside is that it requires a wired connection and disables your existing chime. In both case, it fits what I want, since I didn't want a battery that I'd have to recharge / replace, and the chime in my house causes the dog to bark. It's great if you've existing Alexa devices, as they will tell you when someone is there. Even better if one of the Alexas has video screen.

Easy Setup and Quick Installation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a nice little upgrade for our back porch. It has been nice to be able to keep an eye on things when we are out of town for a few weeks or when we hear an unusual noise late in the night. This requires a hard wired connection so we had to install it on the back porch rather than our front porch where we only have a battery powered bell.

Video quality is good and it gives us a great view. The motion sensor works well as does the live video feed.

Great, Simple Home Upgrade

It was relatively easy to install as a replacement to a decades-old doorbell on my home -- about a half hour for me to get the hardware installed and get started with the app. Getting notifications on my phone is terrific; and both the video and audio are clear. Really like adding this smart device to my old dumb home.

Crystal Clear

I find myself grabbing my phone several times a day to see what is going on outside my home when I am not there. This bell has added an extra sense of security for me and my family. We decided to try this video doorbell because of the brand recognition. So far so good and we are pleased with its performance. Installation was a breeze for my husband, and I was able to quickly configure the app. This Ring Doorbell provides peace of mind when we are not home. We are heavily into online shopping and we receive many packages from various suppliers daily. I love that I can check in on my packages. I would choose this doorbell again.

Perfect size for our needs.

Exactly as expected, great smart doorbell!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring wired video doorbell is exactly as advertised and what we expected out of the Ring doorbell. The motion detection and notification is ideal for when you are home or away. The video quality is excellent. The phone app interface is easy for all levels of personal technology experience. Your doorstep is at your fingertips at all times! Note that this doorbell does not ring your existing doorbell chime noise, however, it “rings” your smart device hook up (our home is Alexa), or a Ring Chime setup. The installation is simple when you already have a doorbell wired. That was my situation so my review is based upon having existing wiring for the Ring doorbell. I would definitely recommend the Ring Doorbell wired (no need for batteries) to any homeowner. Peace of mind is a great feeling!

Simple setup and usage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this is not my first ring product, it is my first wired one. The ring platform works wonderful and I’ve been a subscriber for years now.
This wired unit feels so small compared to the battery powered ones. It does not lack in features and you don’t have to worry about charging batteries.
Setup was super simple. Turned the power off to the doorbell, installed the “jumper”, replaced doorbell with ring doorbell.
The only downside is the existing doorbell chime is no longer functional.

Other than it being really fun...very interesting to see what goes on outside your door...it's also very functional. I love that I can answer my door virtually from the back of my house. I also love that I know when a package has been delivered so I can go get it right away, or ask a neighbor to pick it up if I'm not home. It was very easy to install and the directions provided are accurate.

Excellent Little Safety Gadget!

Nifty little doorbell

1. Get app notifications when someone is at the door (motion + someone actually ringing it)
2. Answer from the phone. Two way talk possible. Video is one-way.
3. Works with Alexa and Google Assistant.
4. Night vision is very good.
5. Can adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor.
Cons:
1. You need annual Ring subscription to watch the history
2. Needs continuous power (this is a wired doorbell)
3. Doesn't work with existing doorbells, Needs a Chime unit where sound is played. Doesn't come with the unit.

Clear Picture and Wide Viewing Angle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ring doorbell is a perfect addition to the Ring Security system and Flood lights we already had on the house.
It integrated easily into the existing app and other products. Install on the house was easy and the wiring instructions were clear.
One change I'd like to see is some type of bracket or something to get the camera (housing) pointed at an angle vs. flat on the hose. My camera points at a wall but still gets people b/c of the fish eye aspect ratio.

The best doorbell ever

It took about 30 minutes to install, set it up and connect to the app. The doorbell provides 1080p HD video with very clear quality images, even in the night time. It features two way talk, motion detection and send alert straight to my phone. I like the new way to communicate with the delivery personnel when I'm not at home. It makes me feel more secure after installing this doorbell.
