Best surround sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These speakers are just phenomenal, the surround sound performance is out of this world. It immerses you into your media and the app allows to extract more audio from any source, even Netflix, HBO, etc. I was able to easily connect the system together and manage it all on the app. The Bluetooth connection and Spotify works well. The clarity in the sound is amazing.

Awesome surround sound speakers with great audio quality

High quality sound system
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, the packaging is impeccable. There were a few things floating around inside the box, but overall, everything was presented in a way that made the entire set up process so seamless and easy, along with ensuring the speakers are protected during transit.
I was a little concerned that the paper instructions were so brief, but the app used to sync the speakers was pretty easy to use and I liked that it guided you through the entire process from start to finish. I don't usually enjoy having to download a new app or create an account for every little piece of technology I own, but the extra controls in the app made it worth it. We decided not to mount them to the walls for now, opting to just stand them on their base, so installation was done in about 30 minutes.
We've already had our first movie night using these speakers and the sound was extremely high quality and definitely improved our overall experience. It almost felt like we were in a movie theater, but within the comforts of our own home. And listening to music on these speakers is out of this world! My toddler has been asking for dance parties every day since we installed these speakers.
Overall, we are very happy with the quality and ease of use of the speakers. They blend in pretty nicely with the rest of the decor in our living room, so they're not a distraction, but still provide a top notch sound quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a surround sound system.

Cinema Quality Surround Sound at Home with Ease
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m blown away by this Sony Bravia Theater Quad set. It is the perfect flexible solution for my home because we didn’t have speakers installed and were seeking an impressive audio experience without all the hassle and install needs. They’ve created beautiful and graceful standalone speakers that can float on stands or mount on the wall with a subtle grey fabric covering and sleek metal top. This let us put two on our entertainment console and two flanking our couch for a convenient immersive experience. I love the intelligence of this product to calibrate the sound to my space, and that it supports Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced, and DTS:X formats. I love the adjustability and pairing compatibility with my devices. I was a little skeptical of how these would ship to me direct, but the packaging is amazing. Perfectly protects the whole kit and includes simple instructions for setup. You will be so happy to make this system a part of your home setup.

Awesome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I tried out the Sony Bravia Theater Quad, I was impressed with how immersive it made my movie nights feel. The four thin, wall-mountable speakers were simple to set up and didn’t take over the room. Theres a real sense of depth, as if sound was coming from all around me. Even without a center speaker, dialogue was crisp and clear because the system synced up with my Bravia TV’s speakers.

Amazing enveloping sound

Amplify your experience!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was a little confused about the 16 speakers, but the 4 boxes. Then I realized there are 4 speakers inside each of the 4 bigger speakers which gives the 16! Definitely easier to put 4 speakers around the house than 16! So this was a pretty amazing product to be able to receive and review! Whenever I read reviews from people who got to test a product I’m considering buying that’s pricey, I’m always like how??
Sony is a great and reputable brand that makes quality products. Customer service is great too as they make products they believe in. All my speakers arrived in brand new condition and were easy to assemble and put together. If you want to amplify your living space, this will take you to that next level. We upgraded to a really large tv a couple years ago and got a sound bar. Although our soundbar wasn’t cheap, I don’t feel like it made a huge difference overall. With these external speakers, it really takes you to that next level of sound and quality movie theater experience!

Truly Amazed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound is amazing. Honestly, we did not know what to expect, but this was one of the best technologies we have implemented into our home. We have been using this nonstop for movie nights and even when casting music or medication sounds from our phones. Definitely worth the price if you are looking to upgrade your home and cast movies/music often.

It’s perfect for home movie theater
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of, I’ve been taken extra time to test this beauty out since I’m a movie geek myself. The set up will cost you some time, but it is what needed for a home movie theater. The design is simple, yet sleek, so I works well with your house interior. There are 4 bars in total and I placed it around my room. It is wireless connect, but there’s also wired as well, so esthetically It will create that modern look in your house. The price is a little high, but definitely worth every penny, especially less and less people are going out to movies. Sound system are comparable to the AMC Dolby.

Great 360 sound quality

Husband had no problems setting it up within few minutes and Sony app was simple to use as well. The 360 Sound quality was amazing for watching movies! Only con is the wires do require some work to hide if you decide to mount them to the wall like we did.

Experience Theater-Quality Sound at Home

- Setup: Quick and straightforward. It took around 15 minutes to set everything up. The manual guide is helpful, and online resources like YouTube make it even easier.
- Design: The speakers have a chic and modern look. The material hand color are very appealing.
- Features: Multiple connectivity options including Bluetooth, HDMI eARC/ARC, Spotify and Apple AirPlay. Even though my TV is older and doesn’t have HDMI eARC, connecting the speakers via Google TV Bluetooth has been an excellent alternative.
Cons:
- Bluetooth Connectivity: Initial Bluetooth connection can be unstable, but it stabilizes after the first setup.
Overall: An excellent choice for bringing theater-quality sound to your home, especially if you value design, ease of setup, and flexible connectivity options. If your TV lacks HDMI eARC, Bluetooth is a reliable alternative once the initial connection is established.

Amazing sound quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing quality system. I got everything set up in about 20 minutes, not including time it will take to mount. There are four speakers, each with the option to stand or mount. I was able to connect it to my Samsung TV with ease, as well as my iPhone. This is a very intelligent sound system that detects the location of the other speakers and provides optimal sound quality. They can get LOUD if that’s what you want, I felt that 25% volume was already loud. When I first started using it, I was SHOCKED how many detailed sounds in my movies I could now hear that I have been missing all this time. Greatly enhanced my watching experience.

Wow! Great sound

Amazing sound

Easy to assemble, great sound, design and lots of sound options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always wondered what it’s like to watch movies at home as if you were in a theater. I finally got the Sony Bravia Theatre Quad, and I’m absolutely thrilled! It’s very easy to set up, and the speakers have versatile stands—they can be wall-mounted or placed on a surface. It’s great that the speakers connect to the receiver via Bluetooth, so there are no messy wires everywhere.
The sound is incredibly rich and beautiful! A quick note from my husband, who’s a sound engineer: The high frequencies are a bit lacking, but that might be because the speakers are on the floor; hanging them up might improve that.
The Sound Field button adds space to any movie, there’s a night mode with reduced bass and more focus on mids, and a VOICE mode that enhances dialogue. You can also adjust the bass levels with the remote, which works perfectly without needing to point directly at the receiver. In summary—it's just WOW for home use!

While not cheap, it is a great option for those who are looking for incredible performance. The Bluetooth connectivity is very reliable and easy to use. It’s also a breeze to set up. The 16 speakers in the system allows for a great listening experience.
I also like how you can connect the system to your phone to use your phone as a remote control. Overall, if you’re looking for a high-end home theater speaker system, this can be a solid option.

Impressive sound immersion
I bought this system a few months ago and have been very happy with the sound immersion I get from it. The setup was really easy, especially if you have a Sony TV. The HDMI input has been very useful if you have an old TV without eARC.
I do feel that dialogue clarity can be improved when not using voice mode. Dialogues were much more clear in my previous Sonos soundbar. I am not using center sync.
One feature request I have is to add Tidal Connect support to the device for spatial audio (Dolby Atmos) music streaming. While Apple Airplay is great, not everyone has an iPhone. At least this system supports the LDAC protocol for Bluetooth, so Bluetooth is not that bad, but it won't support Dolby Atmos. For high quality and spatial music, Tidal Connect would be ideal.
Another enhancement could be to output more information on the audio received. For example, "Dolby Atmos" does not currently say whether it is TrueHD or EAC-3. DTS does however say whether it is HD or not. Likewise, Bluetooth, Airplay, etc. also don't say much on the bitrate, etc. of the signal being received.

Good Looking Quality Bravia Theatre Quad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sony Bravia Theatre Quad is a beautiful well made home theatre system. Upon opening the box and removing contents, you feel the quality of how well each item was made. The 4 speakers look sleek and are a good substantial weight, so no worries about them tipping over. I opted to place them free standing in 4 corner areas of the room. Setup did take some time. I downloaded the app on my phone and then connected all the speakers via Bluetooth. Although I do not have a Sony brand tv, I was still able to connect it with my smart tv. They were then easily controlled from my phone or the remote control. I did some sound testing via the app as instructed. The app also offers additional settings, such as adjusting the subwoofer and rear speakers' volume, enabling dialogue mode, surround and night modes. I really like how the system looks in my space. I hear depths and variations of the sounds, background noise, and voices thru the speakers like we’re enveloped by them, immersed in the action of the movie we are watching. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is due to the hefty price tag.

Love the aesthetics
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband finally made some time to connect these speakers. It was a bit of a hassle having to download the app/create login but the setup was fairly simpler after that. The app easily located speakers via Bluetooth and synced up after few tries. We are interested in purchasing the subwoofer/bass that goes with this for more of a theater like sound effect in the near future. Speakers look very sleek! It hasn’t replaced our current beloved soundbar but hoping once we get the bass setup, we will primarily use as our only surround sound. Would recommend anyone looking for modern looking, clear sounding speakers to try out

Great sound quality, weak bass.

Other than that, the design is stylish and the setup was easy. A great choice for those who appreciate quality sound, but not ideal for deep bass enthusiasts.

Can't Update Software and Can't Optomize
I tried multiple times to do the software update. It is so slow (only up to 1% in half hour) that I canceled it. I am updating over the same WiFi Network that streams the video stream to my TV so, I don't think the network is the problem.
I tried multiple times to run "Optimize". I always returns: could not determine distance to speakers. Since my rear speakers are wall mounted beside some cabinets, my furniture configuration could be the problem. However, I would expect a distance determining utility would be able to accomidate that.

Great except for one speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These speakers were easy to setup thanks to the app that is quite straightforward. However for someone who isn’t tech savvy it might be hard for them to install since you must have the app. We do have an issue with one speaker always being louder than the others. I personally love how easy it is to switch between using the whole system with the TV to using it with Bluetooth. We love music, so we use these speakers a lot for listening to music. The sound quality seems great; however, one speaker does almost sound like it could be blown. Although one speaker sounds off, every song we play sounds amazing and I can’t help but wonder how much better it would sound if the fourth speaker functioned the way it should. I’m not sure if maybe we received a damaged speaker. Also you need to have a 110 outlet per speaker if you wish to hide the cables, which we are in the process of doing.
