I love it.

Dries like a champ.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to replace a 25-year-old Amana gas dryer. We like this Whirlpool for several reasons: 1) it has fairly "basic" controls (no touch screens, digital readouts, or musical tones, which is our preference), 2) it dries very well on "medium" heat, even large towels and small throw rugs, 3) the lighted drum and drop-down/hamper door are surprisingly convenient, and 4) the clothes-dry "signal" sound isn't too loud or jarring.

I've had the dryer for 1 week and so far it has met my expectations. I like Whirlpool appliances and know I can count on Whirlpool to deliver quality service,

Good looking and full of features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought the dryer a month or so ago. So far it is working out ok . Th e product has a warranty for one year only.I wonder why Whirlpool people have the confidence on their product so that they could give five year warranty

Tried and true model.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced an 11 year old similar gas dryer that never needed service. The auto dry sensor stopped working and 6 weeks later there was no heat. Rather than servicing an old model I bought a new one. Simple but effective. No frills. No learning curve.

Maytag Gas Dryer

After extensive research, I settled on this Maytag Gas dryer as a replacement. It has been awesome and such a workhorse. Highly recommend this model. I don’t need extra bells and whistles, just a reliable machine to get the job done.
