Not Compatible with Surface Pro 3
Comments about Belkin Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter:
I bought this adapter for my Surface Pro 3 and it is not recognized. I tried it on 2 different TV with different HDMI cable and the monitor is not recognized by Windows 10.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

disappointed, but Pro3 dock is part of problem
By Matt M
I bought this a few weeks ago - I have the Pro3 and a docking station. The Mini-display port on the docking station is angled downward and doesn't allow this cable to plug fully into the port. It connects, but just barely, and the cable pulls out every time the dock is moved or it is jostled at all. The design issue is more with the docking station than the cable, but I can't change the docking station, so I will need to look for a cable that has a smaller plastic shield surrounding the miniport connection. Works fine when plugged directly into Surface, so if that is your application, knock yourself out!
