Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great option, but insanely overpriced. If you want a drawer-style microwave, you pretty much have to buy a Sharp. Which is probably why this type of microwave is much, much more expensive than even a built-in over the oven, where there's some competition between mfrs. We replaced our other, identical Sharp from 7 or 8 years ago (why update the product when you're the only one making one?). It started to make arcing, sizzling noises. If that's why you're shopping, replace your microwave, now. Our local fire dept has lots of stories of microwave ovens that burned down a house, even though intuitively microwaves feel like they should be safer than a conventional "hot" oven. Don't mess around with a malfunctioning microwave; it's not worth the risk. Spending $1000 really sucks, but watching a fire sucks more.

If I have a cutout height of 14 3/4, would I still be able to fit SMD2470AH?
