Durable, and strong, quiet, for live stage or office

Comments about Vornado 41" Tower Fan - Black:
My band uses these fans when performing outdoors when it's hot. We set them up and they do all the work of cooling us off. Life saver! We thrown them in the car, drag them out for performances. Durable. They are a bit tricky to clean. Works great for us.

About Me Beginner
This fan kept me cool all summer in my studio. I like the design, and it makes it easy for air to circulate.

About Me Casual Do-It-Yourselfer
I initially loved this fan. It was quiet, circulated air very well, and made my bedroom comfortable on warm evenings.Unfortunately, it failed completely in a week. I turned it on, the blades moved slightly and it stopped. Nothing but a him after that. I ended up returning it to the retailer I bought it from. I would have exchanged it, but many other reviewers had a similar experience.Overall, this is the only Vornado product I would avoid. I have two Vornado heaters and a 733 air circulator and they're all wonderful. Far superior to anything else on the market. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Worst Product Ever
By The shopper

Vornado should rethink the V-flow circulation because it does not work. Not close to being worth the money. Poorly made - no flow, no air, no relief.
Bright lights, average air flow
A pretty good fan, and it does widen the air flow pattern. Having a larger round air circulator, we just got this one for the bedroom. The smaller footprint, as well as the advertised quietness. It is an average air mover, not huge. Gets a tad loud on the powerful settings, the first two settings are more like gentle breezes. But the blue lights on the top of the unit are Major League Annoying. The ceiling and the adjoining wall light up like a high rise building at night. I was thinking of just returning it, or using a black market to cover the lights. Silly design flop.
WOW! Love the fan!

A friend of mine was helping his cousin move from a house near a college campus. He brought back a lot of furniture that his cousin wasn't going to use and one of those items was the Vornado. He knew I used fans more than the AC, so he gave it to me. What a great gift! It generates a ton of air and takes up a minimal amount of space. To feel the strong current, I keep it closer to me than at other times. It works great when I'm relaxing on my rear, screening-in deck. It doesn't oscillate but that is not a big issue for me. Love the product!

Not a fan of this fan
from Kitchener Ontario Canada
I bought this fan thinking it will work well but I was wrong. If I want to feel any air movement I have to practically have it sitting in front of me. I always have it on high and still I don't sense much air movement. I have a Seville fan in my bedroom which was way cheaper and works far better than the Vornado. I would have taken it back but . I no longer had the box or the receipt. Very disappointed in this fan and have told everyone I know.

If only it were Quieter

About Me Professional
First off.. let me admit my addiction to VORNADO.. I own 8 of their products! Small fans, Large fans, Heaters and a High End Humidifier. All of their products work Great... except ONE. The Tall Tower Fan. No question, it's very good looking and I LOVE that it has a remote control. BUT.. the build on the product is flawed OR I have a lemon, not sure which. When I turn it on past the lowest speed, it rattles something HORRIBLE and makes it unusable. The lowest speed does not do the trick so I have to use one of my other fans and this one was not cheap! I probably need to call customer support and see if it can be exchanged for something else since I hate to own a bad Vornado. Love their product.. just not this one!
