Fantastic!
I’ve had the fan for a month and a half and I love it. It is built to last. My grandchildren will be using this fan. It makes just enough noise to keep me sleeping. The only thing that could make it better is if it had a remote.

Solid mechanical device
You might think this is a perfectly preserved air circulator built in the era of FDR, and The New Deal, when laborers were well-paid and appreciated for their excellent work. It has that kind of quality and workmanship! This is made to last a lifetime, like so many of the post-war machines I've inherited from my dad and grandpa.

Looks as Good as it Performs
Read product information and reviews praising Vornado's air circulation and we wanted a fan that would look good in our family room so we bought the VFAN sr. Pedestal Vintage Air Circulator. Very happy with the all metal design, the teal color and surprised at how far this Vornado fan can push air. It really gets the job done.

Love this fan!
This is the second one I've purchased. I have an "L" shaped living/dining room. I have one fan pointed one way and the other fan on the other side of the room pointed in the opposite direction. They move the air great and look fantastic!

The Best, Most Beautiful, & Well-Built Fan
We absolutely this fan! We already owned the Vornado VFAN Jr. in the same green color (it's now in our downstairs bathroom), so we figured Sr. was going to amazing as well & we are right! We live in a split-level home & our downstairs bedroom has a bit of a low ceiling. The ceiling fan that was in there was just too low (if I can touch it, that's too low/I'm only 5' 3.75") for this room. The fan pulls were always hitting my 6' tall husband in the face & he regularly hit the lights/fan blades when raising his arms. So, we decided to get rid of the ceiling fan & replace it with a beautiful & very affordable light fixture that is flush with the ceiling. And to keep the air down here moving, we bought the Sr. fan & put it behind our bed's headboard (I Love sleeping with a fan on all year long). Sr. absolutely moves a ton of air---definitely more than our ceiling fan did. Sr. is also far more beautiful & mutable than a ceiling fan as well! Sure, it is a bit louder, but we enjoy the sound of a fan---especially considering we have one shared party wall (we live in a townhome) & our home also backs up to some tennis courts (& tennis players can get loud at times). We cannot be more grateful & happy for this purchase, Vornado! Thank Y'all so very much!! =:-)

Not disappointed
Although this is by far the most expensive fan I've ever purchased, I can't say it's not worth it. It's very stable, takes up almost no floor space, is quiet and keeps the air moving and feeling cool in a house with no A/C!

Great Overall
This is my 3rd new Vornado. I also have 6 older/collectible Vornados. I can honestly say that these new fans represent the same high quality and performance of the 1950’s product. The service from the Vornado people is outstanding!

Cute but Mighty!
I bought this fan to go next to my treadmill as I wanted it to blow on me, not my legs. This was the one that went the tallest, so that is what made me choose it. I'm SO glad I did; it's a powerhouse! It doesn't seem that loud (but again, I'm huffing and puffing on a treadmill while it's running) and it is very sturdy, even at its tallest height. I thought the 'face' seemed small when I saw it, but it definitely gets the air going!

Best. Fan. Ever.
We love our new air circulator! It's beautiful, cools the whole room, and it gives off just enough white noise to be calming yet not too difficult to talk over. My only wish is that it oscillated as we've been scooching it around in circles to hit us as we move about the house, but I knew that it didn't going in and I love it regardless.

I love this fan! Not only is the look what I wanted but it functions great. The 3 speeds are perfect. Super easy to put together. Saving up money to buy the white one for another room it will be perfect in. Worth every penny. Wish it came in more colors

Perfect!
This is a very nice looking fan that moves a lot of air. I have it in my living room, were I admittedly exercise (yoga and cardio fitness classes). This fan keeps me comfortable for cardio challenges (we don't have central air in our house). It was a splurge purchase, but I'm very happy with it. This is our second Vornado fan purchase and we're happy with both fans!

Pretty!
The fan looks good, and receives compliments for its solid, atmospheric presence in the room. Heavy enough to be stable, but easy to move. It's such a hit that my grandchildren asked me to get another one for the guest room. The air circulation design works, this is not just a regular fan.

Best fan ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best fan on the market and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. The style is almost exactly the same as the original Vornado fans from the 1940s. This is a three speed fan. First speed is very soft and almost silent whereas third speed moves quite a lot of air and the fan is a bit loud. The second speed is the sweet spot. It moves a lot of air and has a pleasant hum. The only noticeable difference between this and the old 1940's Vornado fans are the blades. The newer model has plastic blades but the rest of the fan is metal and it's solid. The fan comes well packaged with a nice user manual which explains how the fan works and how to position it for each season. Assembly only took five minutes.

Great fan

The only flaw was that the base arrived scratched, so Vornado could use some work on their packaging but otherwise, it's a great product. I would definitely recommend the fan to others.

Beautiful and awesome.
This is a beautiful product, the base assembles fairly easy and it is sturdy. I love this fan, I only wish it was made here. After I assembled it and turned it on it made a noise, I checked and noticed that the cap that holds the blades was loose so I had to remove the grill and tighten it. The grill is not easy to remove, I wish they will find an easier way to fasten it to the frame. Overall, I love this fan and recommend it very strongly.
