So far so good, except....
Comments about Whirlpool 18.0 Cu. Ft. Refrigerator (No Freezer Included) - Monochromatic Stainless Steel:
We've had this unit for about a month. The first thing we discovered is that unless you can open the door more than 90 degrees, you can't pull out the two right-hand veggie drawers. (We had inquired about this very problem, and were told 90 degrees was sufficient, so apparently the people at Whirlpool have bad info.) Since our fridge is next to a wall, this was a problem. We dealt with it by removing the top drawer altogether (and just using that area as a shelf) and then angling the whole unit slightly askew to the left, so that we can open the bottom drawer just enough to put in and take out small items that we don't use very often (certain condiments). The second issue is that the support for that shelf I refer to above is just a flimsy piece of plastic. I suppose this would be fine if we were able to keep the drawer in place for more support, but we have to be VERY careful not to knock this piece of plastic aside or break it. It has come out once--it's just wedged in there--but so far we have been able to put it back okay and keep using the shelf. Oh, and one other problem: to get it to run at an appropriate temp, we had to set it on the lower setting. I have a refrigerator thermometer, and the factory setting only produced a temp of about 42. Since 38-40 is optimal, we have been running it at the lower setting. Since there is no knob to turn, you only have three choices for settings and you can't fine-tune it. Frankly, we would have gone for another item but this was the ONLY all-fridge ANYWHERE we could find that would fit into the spot where our old one (Woods) was. What is the deal with the refrigerator industry!!!??? Also, please keep making white fridges; not everyone wants stainless steel (ugh).
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

love the space

We've had it for 2 months and are happy with it. Efficient on space. Runs pretty quiet. Good lighting. Only negative I could say is that the door opens kind of tough.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Like the outside size;inside too small
from Los Osos, CA
I had two bottom freezer drawer refrigerator combinations with right and left swinging doors. Left swinging door now discontinued. When my right refrigerator broke, I got side-kick refrigerator and freezer. Fits the space but honestly the refrigerator space is too small-- I lost 1/3 of my refrigerator space.

I just bought this refrigerator and am so happy with it. It is beautiful to look at and so much room inside. Much more than I expected.

We've had this model for a month now and I love it. We have had no mechanical problems. Cost was comparable to other similar models. Set up was simple. Shelving and drawers are durable. Can fit lots of things inside including multiple gallon size containers. Unit runs quietly. 2 of the 4 drawers are quite small. Overall very impressed by product.
