that I replaced, but the product info stating that newer units were more efficient must be true as the power seems
equal to my old 1800W unit. It is a little louder, and the keys could be more bold white to show up better.
Sometimes I push on the light button more than once to get it to turn on, but overall a very good product and worth the money. My install went OK...just had to re-drill one hole in cabinet floor to line up with mounting screw hole.

I miss the feature on my former GE microwave that allowed me to push (for instance) the "1" button to microwave for 1 minute, "2" for 2 minutes, etc. I understand GE is the only brand that features this. Otherwise my new Whirlpool works great.

Is the exhaust vent on top? I want to have it vented outside out through the cabinet ontop of microwave.
Yes this can be vented through the wall or through the roof
If venting through the wall, be sure that there is proper clearance
within the wall for the damper to open fully.
If venting through the roof, and rectangular-to-round transition is
used, be sure there are at least 3" (7.6 cm) of clearance between
the top of the microwave oven and the transition piece. See
