Vary good with 1 simple down side with an easy fix

Amazing
I have had this monitor about two weeks and been using it as much as possible. The display itself is absolutely incredible. The audio out is super convenient. Having 480 fps is a dream. Not having to worry about maxing my frame rate is a beautiful thing. Blacks are pure black and the hdr looks beautiful as well not washed some other units do. So far I truly have nothing to complain about!

It's so smooth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful monitor for gaming. The refresh rate makes the experience first in its class. The colors are fantastic and the 2k resolution is perfect for gaming on the highest settings. I can move the monitor up and down for improved eye lines and I have my usb camera plugged in too.

Very Excited
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my opinion the most important feature of the GX7 is the combination of the 480hz refresh rate with the DP 2.1 port, allowing for ultra-smooth visuals and the very pinnacle of a gaming experience.
This is perfect for me, as I am a massive fan of competitive gaming (particularly Apex Legends) and I have recently got my dad interested as well. If I win this gx7 I will give my dad my old LG monitor and use the GX7 then hopefully when I have saved up enough money I can buy him one too!

Best in industry for FPS gamers

Thick Borders
This monitor is absolutely stunning, I am now part of the OLED club and can never go back. It amazes me how these panels dominate in every category someone would want in a monitor, except price of course, they are still expensive, but 480hz its nuts. My main gripe, mainly because of the cost, is the border width. Its garbage. There is literally an inch on every side of the monitor of nothing. I think there could be a solution so LG if you read this please answer my question. There is a ring of unused pixels around the entire screen that are unused, probably 20 or 25 wide that if were utilized would make the borders far more acceptable in my opinion. I think its a burn in preventative measure so the image shifts a few pixels every once in a while, but I don't want that feature, I don't plan on having the same thing on screen for the rest of this monitors life where that would be an issue, the borders are a problem to me because the gap between this and my other monitor is too large now, it looks weird and out of place.

Great looking monitor BUT…
I pre-ordered this monitor when it was advertised to have Displayport 2.1 UHBR20. Not only does this monitor NOT have 80gbps of bandwidth, there was never an update sent out to notify buyers of the change. If I hadn’t come across an article about this monitor’s port changing I would have been stranded with this monitor.
Worst of all I had been EAGERLY awaiting my first OLED monitor for over a year skipping the 240hz WOLEDs, the Dual Mode OLED and the 360hz QD-OLEDs because I wanted to be smart about my purchase and buy an OLED (that if babied) would last several years.
I am disappointed to say the least.
