Love the combo!

Roasted my turkey in my new oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Thanksgiving turkey was golden and moist. BUT it takes a long time to preheat, so I pressed the fast pre-heat. Igets alittle confusing in that you have to know if you are pressing the button for lower oven. And make sure you know which one you are adjusting temps to.
After Thanksgiving I used the self- clean. You can only clean one oven at a time. So far so good. I refer to the booklet-manual to know what the other settings are. The customer service on the phone is personable. I much prefer a person than AI.

Love these ovens!

Baking At It's Best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want to bake the perfect cookies, cakes and pies this is your oven. If you want your meats moist and tender, this is your oven. My favorite thing is to roast lamb chops in this oven. No matter what you bake, roast or broil you will not go wrong. I am going to be taking apart a brand new kitchen, just so that I can install this oven along with the steam oven. Once you have the Bosch experience you will not want anything else. Unfortunately my house won't be ready until June 2021. Counting down the days while I dream about my new Bosch Kitchen.

Nice surprise!!
I bought the combination steam oven option and honestly had no idea what I was buying but it sounded very cool. After only a month in our new home using the oven, I could not be happier with my decision. We are using the steam and steam/convection option weekly. From proofing dough to steaming vegetables and fish perfectly ..I'm beyond impressed. I wish there were more cookbooks out there for steaming, but I know it will eventually find its way to the US. I say go for it! You won't regret.

Marvelous unit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this steam convection combo unit in March 2017 and decided it was time to review it. I was unfamiliar with steam convection so there was a bit of a learning curve but once you get past that it is truly a delight! The proof setting works incredibly well as do all the other things you can do with it (I've used them all now).
The standard oven is also beautifully constructed with temperatures spot on.
When we first received it the seal for the steam oven was actually askew but Bosch had some out within 24 hours to get that straightened out.
Now I'm going back for an induction cooktop and possibly a new refrigerator and dishwasher. That's how confident I am in their service and products.

Smart Choice!
We bought the Bosch double oven combination HSLP751UC in late October. We chose this model because we knew we wanted a steam oven but did not have two 240 circuits available. The Bosch double oven is one of the few steam oven combinations that allows both ovens to run concurrently off a single 240 circuit. We are extremely pleased with the purchase. Although we know we will get a lot of use out of the larger convection oven, we have used the steam oven almost exclusively. It heats up quickly and the steam function keeps food really moist. Clean up is easy. If you are considering steam, this oven is a great choice.

I love the roasting feature
I got the steam oven thinking I would steam more food. But what do not like is cleaning the oven water out. That needs to drain away or evaporate.
The oven to roast I love. I think all racks should slide out with less wt. the retractable arms are hard to insert back in. Keep it simple. Make it easier for a women to use.

Wonderful products, great looking. Just takes some time to get use to the steam oven. Once that was accomplished we were off and running. Now we have wonderful steamed food with all the nutrition that a microwave cannot provide.

Amazing new way to cook!!
I have wanted to move into the steam oven market for a while and finally did. I could not be happier. The oven is slick, sleek and a beautiful addition to any kitchen. The steam / convection combo can pretty much deliver anything with amazing results. Clean up is way easier than you would think - a quick sponge of the bottom and rinse the trays (since the steam doesn’t allow loads of build up or burnt on food) a cinch to wash! Everything that comes out the oven is moist, crispy and full of flavour. I will never regret this purchase!!

Wonderful customer service!
This is a replacement double oven. The customer service was very helpful in sending a repairman and then replacing the faulty ovens. I love the steam - convection oven very much for cooking veggies and meats. The presets are very helpful as are the booklets that came with the ovens. I use it almost everyday.

I was completely astounded that more steam oven specific recipes or a cookbook weren't included. Note--the Bosch "Cooking with Steam" book available to order is underwhelming.

It's a bit hard\time consuming to clean because after every use I need to pull out my step stool in order to climb up & be able to reach way back to wipe out the moisture. Awkward.

Love my Steam Oven. However...
I use the steam oven more often than the full sized convection below. Smaller combo steam/convection is just right for my convection oven needs also. However, hard to reach into the steam oven to clean/dry out after each use. Also - a weird situation- my little dog for some reason freaks out at the sound of the buttons being pushed and the timer alarms. Have to turn off the button sound, but need the alarm sound. I wonder if this is a common situation.

Horrible Quality
If you like to have an appliance that is more often broken than working. Go for it. In about 3 months it broke multiple times. The oven keeps loking on us. The steem oven is very difficult to clean and the gasket is coming off. Convection function is unable to reach higher temperatures and keeps preheating forever.

Steam cleaning results in service call 3 for 3
We moved into our new home in February 2015 and LOVED this steam oven, until I used the steam clean cycle. After using the steam clean cycle the first time, the display screen would not continue to display what the oven was set to after the door was opened/closed. Usually the oven would remain on, but it no longer indicated it was on. Fortunately when this first happened, I went back into the kitchen late at night; otherwise it would have been on all night. The main control panel was replaced during the first service call. I cleaned it again (about 2 months later) and the same issue reoccurred. That time the repairman indicated they were going to replace all the panels they could replace. After the 2nd repair, the touch screen required firmer pressure to make the selections work. I just cleaned the oven again (third cleaning), and the same issue happened again. I have a call into the retailer and will be scheduling more service calls. The steam cleaning function isn't great, but it is better than just wiping it out. I would expect more from an oven in this price range and am concerned I spent a significant amount of money and will be dealing with long-term issues. It is great for cooking, but it has been a major inconvenience for two working parents and a hazard in the event it appears to be off and is actually on for an extended period, which is why I rated it "Poor". Definitely not what we expected from Bosch. The lower convection oven continues to work great. I inadvertently posted this review on the stand alone steam oven, but this is the model we actually have.
