Still flawless after 12 years.
I bought this refrigerator 12 years ago and it has performed flawlessly in all of that time. I have put it through the ringer, too, making loads of ice. A rough family member broke one of the humidifier glass enclosures but it continues to chug away, keeping items crisp and cold. If it is possible to show affection for an appliance, I do. Thank you Kitchenaid!!! Keep up the good work!

spacious 30" bottom freezer

It's efficient because of the bottom freezer, has moveable shelving for opening up a partial shelf for taller items, has an ice maker and interior water dispenser, and is very nice to use. There is a gap at the seal of the freezer drawer but if it turns out to not be an installation issue, it is covered under warranty. The refrigerator is also very quiet

All of the shelves are adjustable which is great . This replaced 15 year old KitchenAid that was still going strong . Hope this one lasts as long. Also Made in USA is big plus ( Amana Iowa ) . Amana invented the French Door Style Refrigerator back in the day so that location ( now Whirlpool owned ) knows how to build them to last .

My Darn Fine Kitchen - Refrigerator Edition
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge SAVED the day! I really wanted a French Door fridge with the freezer on the bottom. However the space I had to work with was narrower than the standard, but KitchenAid came through. The lid on the can drawer is genius, my parent's are jealous. I will say that the freezer fills up quickly. I'm a party of 1 and even thinking about getting a deep freezer in addition. So, there's that to consider.
My new kitchen is beautiful; was a fun quarantine project for my dad and me (we make a great team). Couldn't be more happier with the KitchenAid appliances. They work sleek and now I'm all about this stainless steel business — easy to clean and very posh!

There is a lot of room, more than one thinks.. The cheese drawer is great; the bottle rack helps keep those uprights out of the way; the door shelves are roomy. My husband loves the cold water dispenser just inside the left door. Ice maker works great; freezer holds a lot. Just a great all around appliance.
We are limited to a specific size space for the refrigerator and this fits perfectly. It's easy to move for cleaning underneath and behind it once a year.
