Our frame is metal so we couldn’t screw them in but the weight of the box spring and mattress have kept them in place.

The slats have adjustable legs in the center to aid in the support of our mattress. Our sleep has been improved knowing our mattress will not sag and will hold up much longer than standard mattresses without the added support.

Actually was looking to buy a new bed but these slats were easy to install and have saved the bed. The video on site was exactly our issue and fixed the problem. Great product!
