Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honestly Pretty Great I've owned this product since around Thanksgiving of 2018. It is still doing great. We have 1GB up and down internet. This router handles the load of 7 smart TVs, 4 Xbox Ones, 5 Nintendo Switches, 5 cellphones, 6 computers, and other miscellaneous devices, and we have almost never had lag. (The only time we did was when I didn't install the latest router update. Once I updated it, no more issues.) I got it on a Black Friday sale and paid half price. Honestly, it was well worth what I paid and then some. It was worth full price in my opinion. Honestly, just a pretty great router. I'll cry if it ever quits working or becomes obsolete, but, until that day, this router is my best friend on the daily. 10/10 - Would definitely buy again.

This is a very nice router and was a huge upgrade for our home. It was very easy to install and has a lot of nice features and the Netgear Genie app allows you to monitor and control your router easily from your smartphone or computer.

Also, it’s extremely easy to set up, including guest access, 5G, 2.4 G, and the connection to my ISP. I’m extremely happy with the Netgear router, which convinced me to go get a Netgear modem.

The ease of setup for the router is unparalleled and I was able to get online minutes after opening the box. The speed and range of my wifi connection is at least double what it was before and the Nighthawk app lets me manage every device connected to the router seamlessly. In a shared-space household with multiple other tenants living with me, this is very convenient as I can change my wifi password and settings with the tap of a button. For added security we have the Armor firewall which already found a vulnerability in our Blu-Ray player. We like being able to see what's going on with the Firehawk app. So far it is working so well we don't even think about how it is doing its job.
