Easy to operate
Been using Netgear for years but this one is even easier to use. Has Wi-Fi button on it. Can easy turn on n off if ever needed.
Enjoying the quicker speed. Had no issues adding TV, speakers etc

This senior lady can do it!
I just moved into my own little senior place, L O L, and this is the first time ever that I’ve had to set up Wi-Fi myself! I thought that I had purchased a combo modem/router when actually it was just the modem. NETGEAR customer service helped me immensely… Everything is working like clockwork and I couldn’t be happier. Trust me, those of you who are not so savvy about this kind of technology… I have faith in you!

So what I have to say about this product is that it works. It has not went out have had some drop with wifi output but that's probably due to weather. The internet industry is slim picking his. So I wouldn't say its the device on the carrier. Netgear has stood by its name I will continue to use even if I switched carriers. The modem is fast

I replaced my comcast modem with this one plus a NETGEAR router. The setup instructions weren't quite complete enough, but NETGEAR customer service was great and got me set up. This router has smart connect to allow both WiFi bands to use the same network name and select the correct bandwidth for all devices but has to be enabled in the settings. Overall, it is saving me money and works great!

Great modem
It was basically plug and play after looking up the instructions online to set up through Xfinity. Immediately doubled our incoming speed, having upgraded from 500Mbps to 1Gbps. In combination with an upgraded mesh Wi-Fi router, we quickly at least doubled the speed of all our devices.

Great Modem
I purchased the CM1000V2 and it has given me consistanly high download speeds. I test it every day and I receive 900 to 950 Mbt download speeds. It looks great sitting alongside my other gear. I have a 800Mbt Motorola modem that only gets 550Mbt download speeds. So the CM1000V2 is a well designed unit.

Works well!
Using this CM1000V2 with WOW Internet, absolutely no problems getting it set up. Gave WOW the MAC address and it worked right away. Unit runs only slightly warm, getting consistent download/upload speeds. Very satisfied.

Fast and reliable
This is a good buy for sure. The smooth installation was a blessing for me as I am not techie. I paired this modem with my own router so I no longer pay the rental fees to provider. And I have been able to cut the cord while getting BETTER tv experience.

Better speed
Had the 3.0 version and Cox changed something in their config where I needed to upgraded. I have up to 500 package and if wired, I was running 400 , wireless around 300. That is plenty fast for me as I don't game.
