Side Vent Kit works well but is difficult to install in clothes dryer.
We installed this in our new dryer. Had to vent the exhaust down through the bottom of the dryer
to attach to the vent line leading outside. The kit is very well made. We only used 2 pieces from the entire kit of approx. 5 pieces. Very difficult to install in dryer. Had to remove top, front with door and then the belt and clothes drum. Install ductwork inside unit and then reassemble dryer.
This process took a few hours to complete. We had help from a family friend who repairs these appliances for a living. Could not imagine doing this ourselves. Recommend you get a professional to change the venting on these units.

Easy to setup, Easy to use.
The washing machine was plug in and go. Very Easy to use. The user manual was very helpful to under stand how and why the washer does what it does.

washer was delivered and was set up in professional manner. Washes great and is very quiet. Uses minimal hot water and detergent. Very energy efficient.

Great Product
Dryer works well. Has a lot of options and drying times vary depending on the load type you select.
The issue for me so far is on/off button which requires you to press at a certain angle for it to come on, took me a couple of times until I discovered you had to press it firmly for a couple of seconds.
So far love it!

LIKE ALL THE FEATURES. LOOKS GREAT. USES VERY LITTLE WATER , NOT SURE HOW GOOD IT WILL CLEAN. USED TO AN AGITATOR 20YEAR OLD UNIT.

Be aware when buying for a gas dryer
This is a great product to give some flexibility to installation. Be aware that some vent options are not available on gas dryers. My model can not be vented on the right as that is where the gas connection is. My decision to purchase this dryer model was with the idea that a right vent was available. When it was delivered, I discovered that there was no right vent. I had to relocate the dryer to allow the use of the left vent function. The kit it's self is very good, but Samsung makes very little mention of the limits for gas dryers

They could have done better.
for the price, they could've done a better job with fitment.
you have to use more duct tape than you'll feel comfortable with.
i'm only recommending because there's no other choice that i know of.

Can't be used when your dryer is on a pedestal
I researched like crazy! Measured my closet, measured it again, measured a third time before purchasing my dryer. I knew that I would need a side vent conversion kit in order for my dryer to be able to fit. I purchased this. I read the spec sheet, read the dryer manual before completely deciding which model I would want. And NO WHERE did it say that you can NOT use the side vent kit when your dryer is up on a pedestal. Seriously?? Thats a pretty important detail, Samsung that should be at minimum located on the spec's page of this item. At the moment, I'm pretty frustrated. Yes - my brand new washer & dryer fit beautifully in their closet & they do look amazing. Heck, I'm running a load right now! But i've had to take off the closet doors and they protrude beyond the walls now. If I knew this ahead of time, I would've either skipped the pedestal purchase for the dryer or I would've gone for a less deep model. The ideas of this kit are great! The parts look solid and ideal. But please know - if you want your dryer on a pedestal? This kit will NOT work!!

DV-2A Will NOT Vent to RIGHT side of Gas Dryer
literature and websites advertise venting left & right. owner's manual does not address the issue and installation instructions for the kit fail to do so, as well.
not what i expect from samsung.
