Amazing sound in such a small package
Sounds great. Exactly what I'd expect from Sonos. Sure, a bigger product would sound even better, but this little speaker has big sound. I keep it on the wireless charger by the door, so it's ready to go when it's time to make pizzas outside with friends. I also place it behind me for an extra kick on movie night.

I would like to buy this product again.
I have a computer with a good Logitech sound system. But I prefer the Roam as it is small and looks good on my desk and the sound is superior.

Elegant and powerful
Great sound. Links up super well with other sonos speakers. Only minor inconvenience is that it's the same button to switch to Bluetooth so sometimes annoying.

Excellent Ultra Portable Speaker
I love Sonos. The sound is awesome! I bought the Roam so that we could bring our music outside in our backyard. It works seamlessly within our Sonos ecosystem. We can have the same music playing indoors and out back. And the sound that comes out of such a small speaker sounds like it's coming from a much larger one. Incredible!

This an odd use: I had a 1970 radio console where the electronics were gutted. I added a recent turntable and was looking for a sound system to use. The Sonos Roam looked like it filled all the check boxes. Finally, I use the Sonos as the source for all Alexa music. The connection to the turntable via Bluetooth was not good (the line level being too low from the turntable). The Sonos is placed where the speaker was in the console. This adds some extra 'bass' (or less highs?) to the sound and the console looks like it is genuine vintage. This is an amazing speaker with plenty of hump -- and its Alexa connectivity is flawless. My first portable speaker
I wanted a portable wireless speaker to use with my iPad (or iPhone) for listening to the radio while in my kitchen so I wouldn't have to listen to the iPad's speakers. Since the main stereo in my living room isn't portable I also wanted a speaker I could take from room to room for streaming music from my phone/tablet. My main stereo is attached to a Sonos ZonePlayer 90 which allows my analog stereo to access my computer's digital music files, as well as stream music from any of my computers by using the Sonos 1 app. My Roam has to use a separate Sonos 2 app - not ideal, but no real problem either. I had to get help from Sonos and my ISP provider to reconfigure my router before I could connect the Roam to my Wi-Fi network. Very happy with my purchase.

Very pleased
We have a Sonos 5 in the living room and two Sonos Ones in the kitchen. We added the roam to the living room to have a fuller sound in the living room and to be able to move the roam to the porch. The roam is rich and "balances" the living room sound. We plan to later add a 100 to the living room and move the roam upstairs.

Perfect!
Easy to set up. We now have surround sound in our living room (love it!) and, with the roam, one our lanai! We have the option of listen to the same music inside and/or outside! Love this. I can even listen different music on both at the same time. Superior sound quality. Well worth the money. Did I mention how great a movie sounds?!

Love my Sonos
I lost both my hands and much of my mobility in an accident awhile back. I live in assisted living. My Sonos allows me to take my music anywhere in the facility, inside or out, and share with others. Anything that helps us to not spend our entire day in our rooms is a blessing

Sonos Roam
The Roam is great for taking it along while roaming around. The set up was quick and easy. The connection is superb, the music quality is excellent. I even tried out Sonos Radio and was quite impressed.

Great Smart speaker
I love that I can take this speaker on the road and use it via Bluetooth. We usually play white noise at home when we go to bed via the Sonos wireless system and now I can play it in a hotel via Bluetooth. I also love the Smart speaker features: "hey Sonos, play yacht radio from Pandora" and it starts playing!

I have several Sonos Speakers through out the home and added this for myout door listening to the same Sirus XM streaming music. Great enjoyment for restful music streaming. Best music addition I've made!!!
