Love this fan!
It is huge and has amazing white noise. Most of all it is powerful. Had a quiet Honeywell that drove me insane. I could still hear nocturnal animals at night.

Another Great Fan From Vornado
Great Tower fan, well built sturdy lots of air flow if needed . I use this fan on medium at night for sleeping great air flow throughout the night. I keep it in front of the window in winter with the window cracked it draws the cool air in nicely. In summer its positioned in front of the air vent and it circulates the air conditioning air very nicely around the room. I have had several tower fans which were all junk. The Vornado is the best tower fan I have owned. I own several other Vornado fans and heaters all of which are excellent products.

So much cooler with my Vornado Tower
I recently moved into a two-bedroom townhouse apartment that lacks central air conditioning. I have been surviving with an old box fan in the kitchen which I keep aimed at me while sitting at the dining table. It definitely helps keep me cool. However, the temperatures have been in the 90s the last couple days, and I noticed how uncomfortable I was when I went to the kitchen sink. Since I was no longer directly in the flow of air from the box fan, I noticed a big difference in comfort. Turning the fan to face the sink helped but was inconvenient.
While I was at a big-chain hardware store today, my friend noticed the Vornado. She mentioned how cool it felt. I looked it over real good and finally decided to give it a shot. I am glad I did! A few minutes after returning home, I plugged the tower in and turned it on. Immediately I noticed the difference. I stuck it in a corner of the kitchen and aimed it toward the table. Not only was I cool while sitting at the table, I had airflow throughout the kitchen . I could move freely all around the kitchen and remain comfortable. It delivered exactly what it promised! I couldn't be happier.

Need a fan at night!
I absolutely love this fan. It keeps the air moving in my bedroom and I need that for sure. I can be loud starting on level 3, but I guess it all depends on what you can handle as far as noise goes. I'm just happy to have a great fan at night. It takes up minimal space and that's a plus.

NICE Fan!
I bought mine in June and the controls broke in September, I called Vornado and in 2 days I had a new one! Works great! Their support team gets things done! I really love this fan and I hope It will work forever!!!

Great customer service!
I purchased a 184 tower circulator three years ago. It worked great until it just stopped working recently. Customer service representative Rhonda Dehncke was very helpful assisting me in finding that it was covered under Vornado's warranty and getting it replaced promptly.

will get another.. Good air circulation almost noiseless
For the moment mostly in the bedroom to sleep. Sometimes move it to living room, and at night back to the living room. Plan to get another just for the living room. Very small foot print, great for Manhattan apts.

WOW! Love the fan!
A friend of mine was helping his cousin move from a house near a college campus. He brought back a lot of furniture that his cousin wasn't going to use and one of those items was the Vornado. He knew I used fans more than the AC, so he gave it to me. What a great gift! It generates a ton of air and takes up a minimal amount of space. To feel the strong current, I keep it closer to me than at other times. It works great when I'm relaxing on my rear, screening-in deck. It doesn't oscillate but that is not a big issue for me. Love the product!

Game Changing Fan
My boys' bedrooms are really hot, and regular fans help but they blow straight streams of air. This fan moves air evenly throughout the entire room without the feeling of air blowing on you. I hope they hold up well

This was one of my best buys. I live in an upstairs apartment in the desert. My apartment faces directly east, so I am in direct light from 6am to about 4pm. As quaint as it might sound, under 110 degree summer days--it tends to be unbearable (especially since my apartment is upstairs, and heat rises). I bought two oscillating fans, and a ceiling fan (so my energy bill from using my a/c wouldn't be over $200 again). Turns out they really didnt help. I bought heavy drapes, and still didnt work. My only other option was to board up the windows with 2in foam insulation. I was dreading doing the insulation because I didnt want my apartment to look sketchy; but I was willing to take the risk. I was at a home improvement store walking around, and seen a customer with the Vornado tower fan in their cart. I asked her about it, and she said that it was the second one she bought. Not because it didnt deliver the job, but because she loved it so much, but so she can have one downstairs as well. So I ended up buying this instead of the insulation. I was so glad that I did! The assembly was simple, the design is so sleek, and the power of it completely replaced all three fans I previously bought. I have it in the corner of my living room, and if I leave my bedroom door open, I can feel the air flow coming in or vice versa. This one fan replaced the $400+ fans I had invested in. Buy this fan. Great bang for your buck.

Where has this been my whole life?
I bought this after reading the reviews because I needed a fan for my apartment. It is worth absolutely every penny! I love how I can angle it in the living room and everyone can feel a breeze. I almost never use it on high because I get too cold. I generally sleep with it on the lowest setting. Love it!

I purchased this vornado ...
I purchased this vornado for my Dad who is a senior citizen. It was not operating correctly and he misplaced the receipt. I called vornado and got the most awesome service. I spoke to Harold Wray who is not only knowledgeable but well spoken. He instructed me on how to get a replacement. Im in Canada and he was in the States. Within 2 days I received a new vornado. Talk about customer service!!!!! This is somewhat of a rarity these days.

An awesome fan to top all others
I've never spent so much on a fan before - perhaps the one downside. My first of these was because it was the only one in the store during a hot summer. I figured it wouldn't be a thing to return it if it turned out to be a waste. Instead, it has been the best fan I've ever used! It moves a very large volume of air and does so in a handy 'V' without oscillation. Since then I've bought two more and heartily recommend it to anyone looking for the best. Its not a super-quiet fan. I don't think it's reasonable to expect that though, given the amount of air it moves. Of course it's more quiet on the lower speeds, but louder when faster. A note of advice as you unpack the fan. The remote is a neat little circular bit that magnetically attaches neatly to the top of the fan. The problem I had with my first one is that it is just small enough to completely miss....and throw away altogether! Vornado was kind enough to replace the remote free of charge - but that can be avoided with attentiveness before discarding the packaging!

Great Tower Fan
Bought two of these fans today. I looked at a lot of fans and reviews. I needed two fans for my grandsons bedroom. I didn't want a regular fan and don't like tower fans that oscillate. I was concerned about some reviews talking about this fan being load or not working out of the box. I've had good experience with Vorado in past so went ahead and purchased two. The fans were easily assembled. Definatly not too load. The fans give a good breeze and circulation. I believe these circulators were a good purchase.

Product delivers exceptional temp control
I love this fan! Am renting a condo for the summer. The unit has floor to ceiling windows- pretty but really hot. I was ready to buy a portable air conditioner but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for a short term use. I bought the Vornado thinking I could return it if it wasn't able to cool the room. I was floored at how cool and comfortable the air became in the middle of a heat wave. The air circulates without hitting you like a normal fan. We can actually enjoy our living room again!!!

I have had this unit for ...
I have had this unit for about a little over 2 years and has performed very well. it runs about every night pumping air at high to medium speed, it is not exactly quiet since it displaces large amount of air but the remote after replacing the battery i find it difficult for it to hold a new one w/o spitting the new battery out. so i handle the remote as i do a golden egg and the battery number is correct too and one of the indicating led's for the time is out. overall great machine for one of the first few of thier kind to be made by vornado.

Awesome Circulation for WHOLE living room!
My wife asked me to buy 2 of the really powerful floor fans for the house before the weather heats up. We have bought several other fans over the years, the last were two towers. they both broke before the summer was over. This Tower blows 3x as hard AND has a 5 year warranty... My wife was thrilled when i walked int he door as she didn't want another tower but then I plugged in haha... She is sold. Ive had it in here for about 30 min, and she has already asked me to get another one for the back of the house. Great buy . Worth the money.

Best Tower Fan Ever!
This tower fan provides my bedroom with the perfect continuous flow of air and keeps me cool and comfortable. In Fact I would say that it does its job so well that I sometimes freeze because of the air circulation that it provides causing me to set it on a lower setting.
