Change from a gas to electric grill
I had to change from a gas BBQ to the electric grill because of moving to an apartment and I have been pleasantly surprised by its overall performance. It heats up well even in the winter and cooks much like a gas grill. For larger pieces of chicken, a half chicken for example, I have to turn it over to get it completely brown and crisp but that is fine. Overall extremely pleased and the quality of the materials is exceptional.

Great for Apartments and Condominiums
Great for apartment or condo lifestyle that doesn’t allow gas or charcoal grills. This unit works great. Takes a little longer to hit the high heat but once it does, it sears steaks and any other meat. Easy to clean up.

We had the gas version of this grill at our home and loved it. We recently downsized to a 7th floor condo so could only have electric grill. Bought this electric grill and love it just as much. Love Weber grills. So easy to use!!

The 2400 is well designed for outdoor grilling with grilling space for 6 to 8 NY Strip steaks.
This is my second 2400 with the first one lasting 10 years with use 3 to 4 times a week.

Very good product.
I have two grills because sometimes I make barbecues for too many family and friends. Very good product. The taste is very similar if you do the barbecue with wood, like in Argentina, Brazil, or Uruguay.

Weber Q 2400 - the flameless grill twin
I recently sold a home where I had had a gas Weber Q 200 for almost 20 years and it was the best. I coudn't have it at the retirement community apartment where I moved so I gave it to my older sister to use instead of charcoal. I bought an identical electric Weber Q 2400 and absolutly love it. It grills and chars just like my old one but with no flame and everyone's happy!

Fabulous grill, Warranty and Weber People
The grill is fabulous.
The controller died shortly (3rd use) but I must commend the Weber people.
When the grill died, I immediately contacted Weber and their response was outstanding. They were great to work with and immediately sent me the replacement parts. I gave the temperature control a 3 because it died so soon but when it worked, it was great.

Very practical electric grill, fast cooking. The only thing I lament is that there is no side table attachment available where to place utensils, and/or the products to cook. light enough to carry, but strong at the same time.

I Am Loving My New Weber Q2400
I previously had another brand of electric grill for 2 1/2 years that did a pretty good job, but I had to replace the element and grates at the 2yr mark and then it died 1/2 year later. After extensive researching I purchased my Weber Q2400. I've only had my Weber Q2400 for one month, but so far it has exceeded my expectations. I live in Florida and grill outside a lot and this grill has done a beautiful job with everything including chicken wings, steaks, a whole beef tenderloin, and a rack of baby back ribs. I bought a portable grill cart with wheels that it locks onto so I can move it around easily. So far, I am thrilled with my new Weber Q2400!

Ease of use
Weber makes a very ‘user friendly’ electric grill. This is the first electric grill I have ever owned. It is new so it has only been used once, yet I plugged it in, let it heat up for 20 minutes (per the instructions), cooked some salmon and it was perfect. No mess, no fuss! No propane tank to lug around or turn on/off, no concerns of gas fires. I love it! And the salmon cooked perfectly. Thanks Weber!

Starting over
After loosing our home and grills during hurricane Ian, I was looking for a grill that would fit on the balcony of the apartment we are renting currently. The Q2400 was the perfect fit. The quality of the product is great as well as the flavors of the food I cook on it. We are in the process of looking for a new home and our Q2400 will be a great addition to it as well.

We are very pleased with our electric grill. It browns the meat perfectly and easy to get perfect temperature. We have always had Weber gas grills but unable to have one on our condo balcony but have been pleasantly surprised with this electric model

Great gas grill alternative!
Since we moved from our home to a condo, we could no longer use our Weber gas grill, which we loved. We have been super happy with our Weber electric grill and have acclimated nicely to cooking with electric. Adding a few wood pellets in some aluminum foil helps add the smoke flavor we had with our gas grill. Our first Weber Q2400 lasted about 3 years, and even though we kept it covered, there were problems with the controller. Given the cost of a controller, it made more sense to just purchase a new Weber Q2400. Really happy with the performance, grill cooking space! Just wished it lasted a little longer than 3 years.

Perfect apartment grill
Another high quality item from Weber. I’ve recently moved into an apartment with a deck and any open flame bbqs are not allowed. Electric grills are though and this grill is perfect for my needs. Heats fast and cooks just like a gas grill.

I bought the Weber electric grill and it was an awesome product! Great cooking, great, temperature control, etc. However, I did run into a problem with the control unit and contacted Weber through their online process.
They were amazing through the whole process of helping me with the problem! Incredible follow up almost daily, and very reactive, with technical understanding, patients and immediate turnaround. I would highly recommend Weber for any of your needs. All of my products in my houses are Weber, and this confirms my decision on this product purchase as well.

No. It is very straight forward to assemble. Pretty much need a screwdriver to screw the handle on.

Can you get an adapter for a car plug and use it with it?
The grill runs on 110 volt, and need a 20 amp circuit, minimum. You could buy an inverter which switches 12 volts to 110, but very few can generate enough amps to power the heating element. It would likely cost more than the grill to find one strong enough. AND, it would probably drain your car battery very quickly. Approach with caution!!
