Very easy to clean and cooking/baking is very easy

Hurrah for a five knob range!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the digital controls that controlled the oven on our range failed for the second time we decided to look for a range with five knobs and Found the Amana! We love it! Bought a timer and a wall clock and have ditched the digital Life.

Cooking is a pleasure again!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using our new range for over 4 months now and really enjoy its features. The oven does a wonderful job turning out our Sunday roasts, my granddaughter's birthday cake and even my homemade pizzas. Top of the range cooking provides even, thorough cooking that's definitely faster than my last range. I love how easily it all cleans up without the need for special, expensive cleaners. As much as we are content with our new range, there are 2 things that would make it perfect. I would have liked to have a light in the oven. And the stovetop grates definitely need to be improved. I don't mind one grate per side. However, the fact that there's no stable way to keep pots and pans from slipping off the grate during the cooking process is scary. If the cookware gets too close to the edge, it will slip off the grate. At the very least, it could cause a huge clean up job and loss of food. But in the worst case scenario, a child could get hurt. That's why I couldn't give a 5 star rating. It's a shame really because it's a really good range for those of us that no longer want to contend with all the "bells and whistles" of the ranges of recent years, that fail in 3 or so years including all the big names!. (Hmmm, done on purpose?) We are happy with our purchase and if and when we should need to buy another, Amana is the brand we'll be looking at. But that might take a while. Thanks!

Enjoy Our Stove

Nice Oven

Interior dimensions were smaller than expected but overall it was a great purchase. Not sure why a broiler pan has to be a separate purchase. Seems like that should be a standard item

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I 've only had it a 2 weeks so I really don't think its fair to comment on the product, So far its nice and simple to operate, because it is a simple oven with no clock , no timer, etc. The one complaint I had was the stove top grates on it were very slippery. I could see how easy it would be for me to bump into a pan and it would fly off the stove. I did some research and some guy said he sanded the top of the grates slightly, being careful not to sand too much and that solved the problem. So I was hesitant doing that, so I sanded the bottoms of my pots and pans with 150 grit sand paper. That worked great with out damaging the finish of the grates. Its just a basic stove and easy to operate. It looks nice.

Best bang for your buck
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new stove! So far it has been very easy to keep clean. I had a great installer who made sure the burners were adjusted just the way I like them. He calibrated the oven temperature which runs 50* low and I just set the temperature up by 50* every time I use it. Works great! I love the fact that this is a simple range without all the bells and whistles. Simple and straight forward. So much less to “go wrong”. And the burner grates are what sold me before I even knew the reasonable price of this range. I did not want to deal with the oversized grates that are now on most stove tops. These are easy clean up for a part that catches a lot of mess. I cook a lot and am so glad I chose this range.

Beautiful new Amana

An old school look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for the simple fact that it does not have that circuit board, and large display that everyone is so fond of. This is my third stove/oven, since I bought my new house 10 years ago. I love the brand, it's been my family go-to since I can remember. The new ones are so high tech that when something goes wrong, it cost more to buy another, and they are not cheap. This model is as plain as you can get, no frills. I did have an issue with the stove top grates, they were all bent and the pots and pans wobbled. I figured out how to correct that, so it's ok. Now if I could just get the oven temp set to the dial, my life would be ok.

Good range, good finish, good price. Love it.

We are old fashion people and didn't need all the electronic gadgets available now. We needed one that looked good, cooked/baked good, and met our needs. This Amana range fit the bill and was perfect for our family.
