Love the clear lighting,shelving,and lots of room. you can see everything at eye level and this is a plus.Hope it works as long as I do because this refrigerator is the best and I have had a lemon or 2.

Only one minor service call in all those years. I still liked the basic layout and large freezer space so I bought another one just like it. The old one was good to me through all the family years. New LED lighting is far superior to the old lighting. Digital temp gauges. Nice upgrades in that way. Hoping for many years with the new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this Amana Bottom freezer refrigerator for 4 months and have really appreciated how convenient it is to not have to bend down and crawl around looking everyday to find what is in the refrigerator. It makes so much more sense to have the freezer on the bottom as we are in the refrigerator much more often than the freezer. I have had other brand name bottom freezer refrigerators in the past but I think Amana is superior to them! Also it runs very quiet compared to others I have had. Excellent quality product!

Never needed any service other than the ice maker freezing up a few times, which I was able to fix. The best refrigerator ever. I am currently looking to replace it with the exact same unit only newer. I’m sure after 20 some years it has to be more energy efficient. I would recommend this unit to anyone. Even though this refrigerator is only 22 cu. ft., it has much more storage space than the larger Kenmore. The large one piece door with no water dispenser etc. allows for a massive amount of door storage. The compressor is smooth and quit, and keeps everything at the perfect temps in both the refrigerator and the freezer. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this appliance to anyone in the market for a refrigerator.
