Easy, and my wife is happy, major plus
Excellent price, easy to set up, and use. My wife, who is technically challenged loves it, which is a major feet in itself. We use Alexa in every room along with Roku lights and Roku smart televisions. Set up with iPhone.

Amazing product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Amazon echo is so amazingly useful to have around. I love having the time displayed and having a whole world of knowledge at my beck and call. A simple "Alexa" and you can ask her anything you want, or program her to do tasks for you. I can control my lights, my robot vacuum even my thermostat within the Alexa app. It's a beautiful convenience and so easy to set up. I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience. For an added bonus, especially if you have teenage boys, be sure to tell Alexa you farted for a fun surprise. Highly recommend!

Sound is a little better, aesthetics are better, etc. I love it as an in-bedroom device though! The clock is just enough to see when you wake up, without being too bright. It also shows what's playing at the time, which is nice.

The app is super easy to use and pairing my phone to it didn't take long at all. The one thing I was shocked to see and absolutely loved was when I play music the speaker shows the song title and artist .

Worth The Upgrade!

The sleek design of the sphere and the cloud blue color is aesthetically pleasing. It's very easy to setup this device through the app and it connects to my existing amazon account with no difficulties. This newer version has a clock display that is very handy. The led display is very bright and can show not only the time but also the weather, song titles. . . and so much more. I like how I can stay informed about vital information, today I was notified automatically of a weather warning for my area which is a great feature. Connecting smart devices to the echo dot is easy to do. I connected all my smart lights and now I can tell my echo dot when I need a light on/off and I can also adjust the brightness too. One feature I really enjoy using is "drop in". You can use this device like an intercom. When I am in another room I can talk to others using my phone which is connected to the echo dot, such a great feature. Listening to audiobooks and music is another feature that works really well, the sound is perfect. This echo dot has so many great features, I highly recommend this product.

New generation is awesome!

Having the clock right on the front is so handy. The sound quality does seem quite a bit better as well. For some reason having this one has changed my husband's opinion of them and now we are adding more things like smart plugs finally. Setup was super easy as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Echo Dot (5th Gen, 2022 release) with clock a few months ago. I use it more than i thought i would. The sound is amazing. It does everything your phone can do for you. I love that i can add to my grocery list at anytime. You can call and text anyone. The alarm clock is loud which is good because my husband could sleep through a tornado and never know. The music sounds beautiful. I love that it give you reminders on the days you need reminded about appointments or when bills are do. All you gotta do is download the Alexa APP and youre good to go. You can turn on lights throughout your house or turn your ring camera on or off just by asking alexa to do so. It turns dofferent colors which takes some time getting use too. For instance, my echo turns yellow when i have unread notifications on my phone that helps remind me to read them or when i have a missed call. Im very impressed with this new echo! I love being able to listen to video's of recipes or even a podcast while cooking. Alexa even reminds me when it's time to give my dog's their medication every day at certain times. Alexa quickly became my new best friend!

Easy to use digital assistant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Echo Dot is a great entry point for a connected digital assistant. Setup is very easy and the Dot does so much. Set timers, play music, tell my kid a joke. It does a lot. I love that it has a clock that shows on the face so you can easily see the time. Or you can ask Alexa. It’s also great for setting timers while you’re cooking.
